how about dealing with players who create toxicity too?

people can run down mid, go 0/85 and as long as they dont say a word in chat their account wont get harmed, thats TOXIC GAMEPLAY and causes TOXICITY in chat.

who gets banned? --> the one writing in chat as reaction to the TOXIC GAMEPLAY

im pretty sure if there was a system besides this placebo "intentionally feeding" report option that doesnt do anything (there are 0 players banned because of int feeding) players would think twice about creating toxic gameplay.

less toxic gameplay --> less toxic players

also 5 minutes waiting restriction because of intentionally afking is a joke. permanently ban players who still go intentionally afk after the "warning" which is compared to the 14 day ban in league.

less intentionally afk --> less toxic players

just a bad thing only crybabies sit at this behaviour team like riot lyte.

also stop lying to us with things like punishment for intentionally feeding players, your playerbase isnt as dumb as you think.

Wow, are you wrong.

They do. It just so happens that people that are toxic in gameplay are usually also toxic in chat. You only see the chat, but that doesn't mean they also didn't feed.

THat's not true...I've had many people on my team or enemy's team that would just click enemy base and walk down mid to die...they DO get punished even if they don't say anything. It's also hard to tell if someone is just having a super bad game, or genuinely feeding. Riot is trying to prevent the person who is just having a bad game from getting punished because people just think he's feeding.

Because detecting toxicity in the chat is a thousand times easier than trolling or feeding. Just because someone is 0/5 doesn't mean that they are feeding, and playing something off meta (AD Swain for example) is not punishable. Chat can be regulated with an automated system, trolling cannot. With trolling, someone actually has to go through all the footage and determine if a punishment is acceptable or not, that takes a massive amount of manpower with a minimal amount of return.

I've been spamming ranked with troll picks just for this post.

I don't see why I can play ADC Soraka and not get banned. I'm being a catalyst for toxicity. If i get flamed it's my fault for being a gimpy idiot. People some times deserve to be told they're bad.

Yeah its pretty funny how the one thing that can be muted, typing toxic stuff to players, is the only thing that actually gets punished.

You sir, I respect. very well said

I am one of the players that "looks toxic" due to "actual toxic" players... and it honestly puts way too much stress on me when I get punished for no damn reason...

It's the newer generations of kids who have ruined everything... their "crybaby'ness" literally wipes off onto everything and turns everything for the worst

Saying that dying causes people to be verbally toxic is so wrong. Sometimes people are just asses to be asses.

Go take a look in this section. There are too FEW banned for feeding and trolling, but far from none.

You are so delusional.

The system is getting a lot better at identifying intentional feeders than you give them credit for, especially in the cases you describe. Most of the time players aren't even intentionally feeding when a toxic players goes off in chat, most toxic players are usually just frustrated and looks for someone to blame.

The thing about intentional feeders is that they happen on both teams. If you lose a game because someone on your team intentionally feeds, you'll win one because someone on the enemy team does it as well. It's not an excuse to become a toxic player. You are still the only different variable in your own games.

I got a chat restriction for being mean to a fiora who was intentionally feeding. Riot emailed me and basically told me that when people are intent feeding that I should mute them and keep playing.

Thx riot.

"also 5 minutes waiting restriction because of intentionally afking is a joke. permanently ban players who still go intentionally afk after the "warning" which is compared to the 14 day ban in league."

This is the only thing I disagree with. Do I afk and fear this? no. But there are/have been cases in which I simply had to go. If this were to be implemented, no one would level an acc or power hard for a high rank, as one uncontrollable mis-step would result in a perma-ban In different situations, players don't get a choice in the matter. Someone's ISP may decide to crap themselves, they might get ddosed, firewall/bugsplats may persistently occur or maybe the power goes out. If my ISP screwed up, and I get on the next day and my acc is gone for good, who is there to blame? I can't blame ISP because sh*t happens/nothing is perfect, can't blame myself as I can't read the future and predict disconnections/power outages and blaming riot would be illogical, as it's "their" game and it'd be "their" rules.

In other situations, maybe you've just gotta go. Sure you shouldn't be stupid enough to start a game when you're leaving for a movie in 10 minutes, but I for one have had cases where I simply had to go, where something more important that a video game, known as life's issues has popped up. Parents get caught up at work so I gotta cook tea sometimes, pick up my brothers or perhaps work calls me because someone's dropped out sick and they need a fill-in. Your family may have made plans without your knowledge, IE they organise an outing to the movies/restaurant. In any of those situations, anyone that picks a video game and 4 strangers over family/employment, is a fool. I'm not encouraging afking, and it sucks when there's one on either team, but unless they have rq/ditched cos they didn't get blue, I don't report. With one exception of course, being harassed into RQ by their team, in that case, the 4 twits get a pretty report card.

Apart from this, you're on point bra. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
