I think your post failed two out of those three criteria. If you didn't have anything productive to add to that thread, you could have stayed out.
Hello! I was the one who posted the warning, and I admit I most definitely should have explained the reason for removal better. That is a mistake I made, and I will use this mistake to improve myself in the future.
However, I feel context is needed to understand why this post was removed. The post in question is here, in which a player explains that someone made a joke about their father in game, who died in front of him. It was a sensitive topic to him, and he was clearly upset. You then proceeded to comment, "Man up this is the internet anyone can tell you anything."
Telling someone they have to stifle their emotions from something that is sensitive to them, especially a death of someone dear to them, is very damaging to a person in terms of their experiences. It's almost demeaning to them, as if what they're feelings are somehow unjust or unnecessary. That is why it was removed. If you have any other questions, we are free to talk in the Boards Moderation Discord, and I do again apologize for not being 100% clear on the reasoning in the original deleted post.
This is riot we are talking about you know.
You really can barely talk about anything, say anything, or do anything, without being deemed "exercising inappropriate behavior" despite being on the internet.
It's quite literally like a college campus, only say nice things or you are an evil bad person. pretty sad
I feel theres a little bit more of a context.
If I were you I would edit the imgur into the original post
I got a warning on the board because I told someone (exact quote), "you deserve to be banned. People that intentionally feed have no place in competitive play and it looks like you got what you deserved".
So, now, whenever someone complains that they got banned for intentionally feeding I tell them that I think it's wonderful that they fed and that I have no problem with it at all... given that, apparently, speaking out against intentional feeding is frowned upon.
There's some pretty interesting enforcement on the Boards. Pretty interesting indeed.

I concede that yes, anyone can tell anyone anything. I can even drop every slurs and swear word in the English library on you if I want. Doesn't mean you're free from the consequences of doing so.
Maybe you named and shamed a player. That type post would not be allowed.
