Can we please have harsher punishments for this behavior? This was a massive fucking waste of time and LP for all of us, and this behavior is not uncommon, suggesting that it's rarely punished.
Get a replay saved to your PC. Take screenshots of that replay (what was said, what was pinged, what was ignored) and upload those to the Support website in your ticket. Ask if you can have someone from Support investigate that game because you feel the player was grieving the game.
Support is very responsive. The report system is automated.
You have to hit both high and low sometimes for outlier stuff, but you will get results.
So what can we do? The punishment for this because of how difficult it is to catch is a 14 day ban. Obviously since you wrote this post you would have some example of what would be better.
