I don't care who you are, what your score is, how good you are, how bad you are, how important you think you are. You have no right to shit on other people because of their performance.

In America you have freedom of speech, and you can say whatever. But the moment you log onto this game, you are bound to the disclaimer that you accepted when you first opened League and the one you accept every time a patch comes out. These Terms of Use mean you enter a realm where you must be considerate of other people playing the game, if not kind to them. To take a quote from the Summoners Code "Enjoy Yourself, but not at Anyone Else's Expense"

You are right league does attempt to curb the negativity with it's "codes" but they're so undefined meaning it comes down to situational occurrences

The summoners code is not the same thing as the terms of service or use. It is a code of which you should abide by. That statement is so GENERAL it can be interpreted so so many different ways. How far does "not at anyone else's expense" go? I feel like most of the time people CRY way to much about the little things and THEREFORE THE MOST TOXIC statements are not seen because there are way to many cry babies.

Lol just had the worst thresh toxic mother fucker last night. I'm a silver scrubby player idk wtf the guy expects but he would not stop calling me trash the entire game lol it was ridiculous. First couple of times I'm just like ya my bad that sucked, but eventually I just muted the kid. I'm sure that pissed him off cuz then I hear my team responding to more toxic shit he was (probably) saying to them. Then he started griefing... acting like he's gonna go in with us but then standing back and laughing. It was like an hour long game cuz of his bullshit and all he did was blame others. I ended with the most damage to Champs by far with 66k as ashe and most cs/gold. 22-13-18 ...a lot of deaths but I was trying to make shit happen cuz we were losing so I got a little headstrong. And this was on a second account that's level 23 so idk why this perfectionist asshole is trashing low levels but God damn he definitely got a lot of reports.

Most toxic shit is somewhat justified, sure there's no real benefit to it, but it's not THAT bad.. I got thick skin, I can handle it. I only mute as retaliation cuz I know it pisses these type of people off to be ignored. I just find it fucked up that these kids get so pissed over a video game and they don't realize they're only hurting themselves. I guess some people can't handle their anger and take a deep breath n look at the bigger picture. Must be rough so I kind of pity the toxic angry maniacs that play this game. Mad life.

People like you are people I have problems with. You play a RANKED COMPETITIVE game, correct? Also, there are 4 other people on your team, so your performance (or lack of) can cause 4 other people to get permanent loss on their records. Did you ever think about the other 4 people on your team, before you go 0/10 and push out solo lanes and ignore you team pings and continue to feed?

If you are playing bad, you should own up to it, that is how competitive team games work, and that is how you become a better player. People like you, who ignore your team and consider it your safe space violation when they criticize you as you are 0/10 and its your right to feed as much as you want, and its your right to to give 4 other people a loss. BUT OF COURSE you will report anyone who criticize you and violated your feelings and offended YOU.

Good players know how to take criticism. Unfortunately, from my experience so far with Riot, they place so much emphasis on not hurting players feelings (like you have to be blind to your teammates mistakes), it really takes away from the "competitive" and "sport" aspects which is what they were advertising and pushing and why I decided to play the game.

If you are getting offended and feelings hurt, then use the mute button that's what its there for. Seems like the typical LOL player just uses the report button instead of the mute button.
