I am sick of this surrender culture.

It seems like whenever we are 2 turrets or 5 kill down my team just goes "ff 15" and "we lose gg". Whenever a surrender vote fails, instead of praising the players who don't give up and try their hardest to come back, they are called trolls by the people who say "this is over I want to start another game." Well there is no guarantee that you will win the next game and some people legitimately just want to finish the game even if it ends in a loss. Maybe they will learn how to stall and play from behind.

I am sick of people like you who force me to sit through a 45 min slog while the other team farms kills. Your reasoning is that you had a comeback one time? What about the hundreds of other times that you didn't come back?

Surrender votes are useless because there are always 2 people like you in every game. It's BM to not surrender a lost game and waste everyone's time.

And I'm sick of the "never surrender" (MURICA) culture.

You can say "every game is winnable" all you want, but "you're not going to win every single game" is even more true than the first statement.

Do I spam FF every losing game? No, I don't. Some losing games are fun and I can actually see a way to come back from them. Most, however, are complete fucking stomps and there's very little chance of stalling for the enemy to fuck up their leads.

I've also noticed that it's the games that I spam FF on, are indeed loses. Not a single one where I do so in recent memory has resulted in a win.

I do agree with this. I personally will not surrender unless it is just over. I have been on teams that have made insane come backs my last game actually with some friends we thought it was over since ADC was so far behind waited it out and poof win. I think people refuse to play a 40 min game or longer if possible if they do not see an immediate chance to win sucks people are like that.

Are you talking ranked or normals? I never quit in ranked unless my team really wants to. But i dont play much ranked anyway.

Normals is a whole other deal. I play a lot of sup and i am low elo, means i get a lot of ADC who dont even understand the concept of lasthitting, or when and how to push. Someone who mains ADC should have understood how he gets stronger, where the gold comes from and when he overpushes. Lets say early went well for some reason, but my ADC just cant farm, ignores my dangerpings, overpushes to second tower alone while i roam mid, gets killed and flames me .... i am out. I have already quit inside at that point and all i want is to get out of that situation as soon as possible and maybe have better luck next game.

Yes, comebacks are always possible on that elo. Doesnt mean those 40 minutes where a good time.

Now ask yourself: Does this sound like fun? Would you try to quit and get out ASAP too?

Do i quit too early, in games that are still winnable? Sure. Bcs those games are JUST NO FUN! All i want at that point is to end the torture quickly and move on. Those are my experiences and thoughts when i throw early surrender votes. It is really not about winning or losing at that point, all i want is to get out of that situation to end the suffering.

I blame riot, new player should start at 0 elo and not at 1200. New player shouldnt get wrecked by vets playing 5 years or longer. The infos ingame are abysmal bad too. They dont even give basic infos about abilities or the damage type inside the client and damage type is not logical or self explaining at all.

I had a new mid a few days ago who didnt understand that Kata is AP. She throws daggers, thats not magic damage, so he builds armor ... sounds logical, right? I cant even blame that guy, but i really dont want to play with him either.

If you surrender there is a 100% chance you'll lose. If you don't there is always that slim chance of a comeback. I'll hold out hope for that comeback every time since I'm a glass half full kind of guy.

Of course optimists and pessimists will never understand each other. This is nothing new.

Once again, the OP's post is about people who give up at 15 and want to surrender at 15, not those who want to surrender when the game is truly over at like, 45 minutes in.

A lot of people deem the game over at 15 minutes if they lost lane or if another lane lost their lane. Those people then start a surrender at 15, and will often do absolutely nothing to help and constantly start surrenders whenever they can if surrenders fail all because they deem the game done and lost. They will often do whatever they can to get their team to surrender.

And yes, those people are annoying. Because they like to start surrenders in the middle of team fights, which can actually force the loss of the fight for the team due to the sudden big box popping up and catching ones attention.

The only real times I want to surrender are as follows:

I have a someone who says they are going to INT or troll, like the Garen I had last night. That dude seemed like he WANTED to take a Riot enforced break.

Teammates are arguing. Yeah, if the whole team starts blaming each other and won't stop to my, "Guys and gals, chill. We got this." then I will quietly FF. We are not going to win. Not with these attitudes. Just time to move on and try the next game.

We are REALLY BEHIND. And I mean it is 22-6 at 15 minutes and the odds of coming back are pretty damn low.

And that is it. Those really are the only reasons I think you should quit in my opinion. But sometimes you have to. You are not coming back by the odds and it really is just not fun to try. And you learn more from a close loss than an ass kicking.

Agreed, thankfully only had that once in my 10 provisionals.

You are emotional and ignorant. You completely ignore all of the factors that led to those surrender votes.

Your team gave up multiple kills and turrets before mid game. You are now down 2 to 5K gold and probably some dragons.

I surrender at this point because I have seen what our team can do and it's not worth wasting time on this game.

Does your team know how to play from behind? Does your team have scaling and tanks for a comeback? Is your team all raging and blaming others for their shit mistakes?

It is far better to climb to surrender those games because they only tilt you further. You are so titled your complaining on the forums.

The last factor is time management. You can only get so many quality games in a day. Zero pointing playing another 20 minutes while the enemy team farms kills for fun and you hope they throw.

Yeah, I really don't like the kind of people that do this. Sometimes you can get a gg out of someone if your team gives first blood. Feels bad, really wish they had voice chat but they will never put it in because of what people would say.

You know what i'm sick of it? People like you.

People like you, who will drag a game into the 50+ minutes, when all our inhibitors are down, and their T1's are still up, because "Never give up" bullshit created by the league devs to give this sense of glory or adventure.

It's people like you who ruin games, and turn what can be a fun game, where we can all GG at the end of it, into a fucking 10 hour slogfest because you refuse to humble yourself and accepted the give up. It's people like you, who drag games out, ruin them, you know what this is? This is toxic.

You are the toxic core of league, that ruins games, and makes it unfun for everyone else, it's easy to accept a loss, but it's even harder to stand there and get your shit kicked in because some idiot like you decides that 50+ minutes in, and no farm, is "Winnable" if you try. You are toxic, that is all.
