Surrendering Pointlessly WHY

Why do people randomly surrender in games that you're actually winning just because they themselves aren't doing well? I was carrying as Vayne and my team lost a teamfight. They all had negative kda's except my support, and we lost an inhib. Meanwhile, I was pushing top and already almost done taking down the last nexus turret on their side so the enemy team had to back and defend but i could probably 1v5 by that point or just end the game in the while it took for their recalls to happen. My team goes "gg enemy took inhib" and surrendered. WTF? Just because they aren't doing well they surrender an easy win. Is it because they are so self-centered they can't accept winning a game unless it's them that carries? Do they just not realize I'm already pushing the nexus?

I mean, I don't think any surrender is pointless, really. Even though objectively it might seem like a winnable game, you never know that person's story. They could be having a really rough time and just want to quit playing without having to go afk to accomplish that.

I don't see where the complaint is.... you're just whining because you don't have the power to override a 4 / 1 vote? do you even democracy?

i half way agree with you but honestly if they are getting destroyed they are likely on tilt themselves which makes them a lot more likely to do stuff they wouldnt normally do like accept a surrender after a lost inhib even tho the enemy is losing the base. Remember league is just a game and it should be fun and honestly i would want out of a game that stopped being fun and likely that was happening to your team. Im sorry you had that as im sure it was plenty winnable but i see both sides here.

OP has roughly 10 months of matches listed in his match history with not one game as Vayne. Also hasn't played a match in over 2 weeks....

If you only play the game for an easy win playing league of legends is really inefficient cause if you are playing with people of your skill level you should be winning 40-45% of your games with how match making works cause when you go over you get matched with people who are better and begin to beat you. if you dont find job playing the game just in winning means you only get satisfaction in 40% of your games and less cause you surrendering potentially winnable games
