Hey guys, I have played some ARAM on a smurf account around level 15, and AT LEAST half of both teams were bots. I reported them all, and didn't have any feedback concerning them being banned or something. So my question is, does it really help Riot if I report this kind of account ? Should I keep doing reporting them ? Or are there too many accounts anyway that would just be created instead ?

They could use the same way so many sites verify if you are a human or not. they do not want people to stop once they are permabaned

Just allow people to buy lvl 30 accounts. Then you won’t need bots.

Part of the leveling up process is learning the ropes of the game, and to allow some people the option to skip that seems like it would hurt the game in an entirely new way. The assumption when someone is level 30 is that they have been exposed to certain mechanics and experiences that prepare them for competitive play.

Yeah I know new players need the practice, but you should be able to link accounts or something to carry over the fact you did level to 30. Prove you were 30 before, so you can purchase that lvl 30 account. Buy it for say $20.
ModKnightsKemplar1 votesI'm not inherently opposed to the idea. I think the purists won't like it, but it might actually help Riot a lot to log some of the smurfs. If they can figure out a way to do it in a healthy way, I think that could work.

They do not send notifications for bans for botting.

okay here we have acc name insert name here he played 250 games his average score is 0/30/0 his average itembuild is ALWAYS THE SAME his behavior buildorder runes summoners etc is ALWAYS THE SAME! in the 250 games he didnt use chat a single time.
hmmm... well how the fuck does riot detect bots? a blind person could detect these bots. so no dont report them, not worth your time. "how is reporting someone which takes not even 10 sec a waste of time?"
250 games AT LEAST. 10 sec in everyone one of them. it adds up.
Resolution2 votesHonestly, I want to say keep reporting them - but in Co-op vs AI almost everyone bots and nothing is being done about that. There's a huge market for fresh 30 accounts for ranked. Even some of the streamers have been known to buy fresh 30's to save time.
It's a free to play game with 0 restrictions on throwaway accounts or smurfing. Nothing really to stop them from making a new bot... if not dozens from the exact same IP if by fluke that one gets banned.
You can't win the battle against bots from a player's standpoint, look at any f2p game for example. Sadly that requires the game to be updated better.

There are ways to defeat it but riot does not want to defeat it. Not entirely. Playerbase would dwindle if every time someone gets a perma they need to start from 0.
