@Riot Information on 3rd party detection software

I've read quite a few posts on how people have been banned for 3RD party software, and I'm kind of curious how the system detects that. I would hope that the system can check click times, coupled with ability activation, but also with time for player reaction factored in. I've seen people with phenomenal reaction time, and this was before the popularization of most 3rd party programs. If this is confidential information, for obvious reasons, I'm perfectly fine with that but a simple confirmation/response would be more than enough for me.

You're not going to get flagged over having fast reaction times, but they aren't going to tell you how the system detects it either. As you suspect, it's obscured for the obvious reasons.

i wouldnt be surprised if it does to some extent check to see people reaction in game for clicking/using skills/etc. But i would assume with this detection it will see how frequent it is. If someone who has had their account always have this type of reaction it would stay consistent. But when you have someone else on your account, or use some program to help you with your reactions. that would be easy to detect because it would be different than how you normal react when playing a game from a program, or someone who is obviously far superior to you.

But then again it probably detects a lot more information than that. Like where the account is being played, how often it is logging in, etc.
