If you say "katarina please do not gank bot anymore", is that toxic?

How about "please don't take cs when you gank"?

Regardless of if it's toxic or not, do you think it's the best way to say that?

EDIT: Added more, I'm legit trying to make sure I'm not toxic and handled this the best I could.

"I didn't come because it was a bad baron call"

"Should've gone for mid instead of baron" when jg had <1 bar health left

"zyra please come bot"

"please don't go in in their jungle which is probably all warded"

"i'm playing passive for cs not kills"

Any advice you have on how to say any of these better to communicate I'd appreciate.

Considering I'm pretty sure this game got me 4 "intentional feeding" reports as a 8/13 MF who went 5/5 in lane, I completely understand that people can feel free to report for whatever they want. I'm just trying to make sure that I wasn't in the wrong here, or if I was how I can do better next time.

I don't think it is toxic. There is a problem though:

I've edited it to add more (my own) quotes from one specific game.

I don't think you would be punished for any of those. However, I have to give the disclaimer, Riot can literally do whatever they want, My opinion is in no way a safety net.

If you want to be even safer, I would stick to things that aren't judgemental. For example:

"i'm playing passive for cs not kills" "zyra please come bot"

Things you would want to avoid would be:

"Should've gone for mid instead of baron" when jg had <1 bar health left "I didn't come** because it was a bad baron call**"

Those are judgements of the past. Stick to the present and the future. Try not to be judgemental. An example of how to change:

"Go mid, not baron." "I'm not going to baron."

Or you could forget all of this and just use pings. Pings are safe, for now.

Could be seen as a negative attitude on both. That's the beauty of this system, everyone gets their own chances to be offended.

While I appreciate the feedback, could you elaborate on what makes it "negative attitude"? I see it as trying to communicate a difference in play strategy that I hope the team will understand and cooperate with. Maybe I'm communicating it in a bad way, but that's what I'm looking for is a better way to say it in the future.

That's the thing. What's negative to me, might not be negative to you or another player. It's extremely open and it's up to the player to decide. You can call me any name in the book and it doesn't bother me, but someone blowing my game with stupid picks or whatever irritates me to no end.

You say anything negative to me in the game and I'm probably going to report you. Not because it offended me, but because getting you in trouble is more fulfilling to me than saying something snappy back.

Being "negative" is in fact a quantifiable emotion/experience, which is specific and not at all subjective.

If you say "please don't face check that bush" = not negative. It is a polite request. You may interpret it as a negative statement, but that does not make it negative in objective reality.

Now if you say "i told you not to face check that bush moron" = negative. You are being hostile, aggressive, and insulting.

Other negative variations:

"great team, go and face check bushes, so stupid." "I can't even imagine why you would think it's ok to face check that bush, are you new?" "What's wrong with you, face checking that bush like that?"

Your words carry meaning and how you say/write them (intonation/inflexion) really matter, when it comes to the context of the conversation in game.

I don't see any of this as being reportable or punishable. Taking cs from a lane is always annoying, but it is helpful in certain situations. Was this given in a reform card after a punishment?

Not as of yet but I'm almost certain that all four of my teammates reported me in this game because they thought I was "intentionally feeding" when I wasn't doing anything of the sort.

My opinion is no, but it can be seen as negative, but it's a person to person basis... mainly how thin skinned someone is.

There are people who take the littlest of things and make them extreme. ex.) "i didn't come baron because it was a bad call" Whoever made the call will prob think this "this person just called me an idiot lowkey"

and variations of that can be made for all those, depending on the event that just took place.
