So riot Question about moving in a different AREA and banning for "boosted" or "sharing account"

So what the deal if someone move in to different area? is that gonna make him be banned because now he would log in into account from different IP and the BOT system would lock the account?

What the deal here? because i have examples that people move into a different AREA and their ping was better so now they actually do better in their games and they climp elo does that mean that those people would get banned "for boosted" and "Sharing" account?

No. While we don't know every last detail they use to confirm cases of boosting (if they gave it away, people would know better how to try to get around it), the system is much smarter than to ban as soon as an account shows use on a different computer or from a different IP. There are a lot more things they can take into account when confirming boosting. Some things I've seen tossed around as things they could look at would include champion pool used, cs numbers, clicking patters, warding habits, and speech habits in chat. And I'm sure there's a lot more they can monitor, too.

As far as I am aware, all MMR boosting bans are issued manually. There may be (and probably is) an automated system that flags questionable accounts for review, but those reviews are done by actual people.

I have been on a 2 day ticket discussing with riot about my recent move, I log in at new house (now Florida previously VA) play 2 games next day banned for boosting. Never done anything of the sort. Not to mention who the hell boosts preseason anyways.

and that why we need a rioter to clarify that subject

Because i feel it too if you change area you get banned because the system monitored by a BOT so they ban AND then if you send ticket they may look a it so in order to avoid all that we kinda need a rioter here

It wasn't in the pre season, you were probably boosted sometime during the season. The stupidity of these players getting boosted astounds me.

You have no idea what the situation is. If I had actually boosted I wouldn't go to this extent to get a re evaluation because there's nothing on my account that points toward any type of boosting other than my change of IP address. If I were truly guilty of boosting they would re evaluate, show me where I boosted and I'd still be banned. So if I truly actually boosted I would just accept my ban and keep it moving because there's no point in a re-evaluation.

Not gonna say you did it (because as you point out, only Riot and you have an idea of what the situation is), but it's surprising to what lengths people go that know they are guilty, and probably even know that Riot knows, too. There was a situation where somebody that was banned for drophacking was defending themselves for over 100 pages (several redposts, too)... earlier this year they confessed to the forums that they were lying initially and that it kinda got out of hand after that.

So, as you can see, just because you make an effort to get re-evaluated (sadly) does not mean you are actually innocent.

I get what you're saying completely but I'm just stating the facts that only I know, nobody has ever had my password, nor have I ever been boosted I'm just trying to get another look. If they still believe I'm guilty, then honestly I will just leave it alone because there would be no point to prove anymore. I just would like the courtesy of a second look because i and only I know I'm innocent of what they accused me of.
