this is why I cant stand the meta, And I am starting to HATE players than insist on enforcing it.
The problem is its not trolling or greifing, thats something seperate.
Everyone has thier own play styles and what may not work for other people, may work for you. Thats called BEING UNIQUE
But the meta has turned the community into a bunch of funda-meta-list cultists who feel -they- get to dictate what is permissable meta.
They have turned it into something to beat thier team over the head with.
Yeah alot of pros use it, GOOD FOR THEM.

Just because you follow the meta like some religious fundamentalist doesnt mean you are allowed to berate and beat your team over the head with your champion dogma. If you want to spend more time dictating to your team because of some sense of "I know the meta better than you" then you admit that you DONT want to work with your team, you just want to look down your nose at them. And if thats the case then yeah, you deserve the impending loss.
This is a team game, while the meta may work for some, it wont for for everyone. and if all you can do is call someone a troll or griefer because of thier CHOICE, not thier intention, then you have no interest in winning, just holding yourself ABOVE the other 4 players on your team.
I am anti-meta, and as soon as you start dictating to me (not suggesting, but actively thinking you get to decide) what to build, how to build, where to go, etc. I am tuning you out. I Build what is NEEDED, I react to the game, adapt and build accordingly to try and counter.
I will Never listen to someone who's first words to me are "you @%#*ing idiot, Wtf are you building. You are support, you have to Build X(insert meta item here), Why are you Building Y?" and then they proceed to tell me how completely troll and stupid I am for building the item in place of the "meta" item they commanded I build.
Yeah sorry for ramble,
But you start dictating your team on who or what to play, you deserve the loss and I will not report the "troll"
If they pick like...Nasus support and start running down Mid? THATS a troll.
Someone who plays an off meta champ tha works for them but doesnt conform to -your- current meta, Not a troll, wont report them, and the person who bans it doesnt get to complain about the loss. Because rather than work with your team, you would rather play busy-body and make sure everyone plays who and how YOU want.
