The worst kind of troll

I just had a game with, IMO, the worst kind of troll

Both teams were even, with our top and jungle ahead, while their mid and bot had a CS lead

our support took this as we were losing. And so the "gg" calls and "i give up" started before this player was even level 6.

But what makes it the worst kind of troll for me, is not that this player started losing their minds and swearing and flaming in chat, I can deal with that. I get yelled at at work all the time, comes with the territory. And they have a mute button. In fact, this player was pretty silent in chat, apart from just saying that the game was over pre-10 minutes. This player didnt run it down mid, they didnt even have any deaths yet. What really gets me is that this player, seemingly out of nowhere, JUST GAVE UP. And they did it in the calmest, most calculated way. This janna started roaming around to other lanes to save enemies with Janna ults, or to come to a tower dive so it seemed like you would get saved, and then just spam /dance. When it became clear that we werent going to win this 4v5, and teammates starting asking others to report this player, Janna started posting cheerful, upbeat stuff in chat. Like it knew exactly what to say so that if something like the tribunal still existed, people would be like "well this player did nothing wrong"

But they did. And thats what makes them the worst. Becaused they trolled, but in the most calculated manner, so that to all others it will appear as just another game. Oh, an 0/4 janna in a loss with a bunch of wards placed. Nothing in the chat logs that is negative. But the other 4 who were in that game. We know.

I mean did you explain all of this in the report?

In bronze, plat smurfs usually act like this. You can spot one when you see this kind of behavior.

Damn, yeah, that's why it's so hard to rid the game of trolls and control it. She could have even been MORE subtle. Imagine doing all of that except for the "gg we lose" and the dancing. It'd be nearly impossible to say she's a troll, and not just a bad player.

in my experience as a support main, my adc will call me out for trolling regardless of what i do, even if we're going even. I've had a game before where i was the only one who didnt surrender and got reported for negative attitude (griefing, giving up). Didn't say anything the whole game because everyone was muted. My adc supposedly got "dove" by a karma support as Ashe, when i tried roaming as blitz that time.
