Why I have so little faith in the punishment system

I have sent report after report for people afk'ing or flaming for the entire game, making the game genuinely less enjoyable for me, yet I have never recieved one of those fancy punishment confirmation notifications. No faith at all.

I'm 29 years old and beyond throwing words at people that frustrate me for their actions when it comes to game play. I have /all turned off. Time after time I'm matched with unpleasant people and no one that acts this way does it just once.

I just came from a match where one of my teammates left after 5 minutes and another afk'd in the fountain for 10 minutes. Really makes me want to keep playing this game....

Oh, and the guy that was afk was typing the whole time he was afk in the fountain.

U only get that if your game was the one that got then punished.

I've gotten tons of people punished yet only seen the pop up twice.

It is also mostly because most of the people you report don't rage every game, thus don't get punished.

Just today I was permanently banned because I had a 3 man trio queue in my solo queue ranked match. They all reported me and harassed me all game regardless of me ignoring them and not provoking them. They also got the other team to report me. I ended up getting 9 man reported and permanently banned. Even though during the game I was harassed by my team and the other team. I one shot the enemy jinx and her response to it was typing this to me in all chat, "fuck you anivia", "im reporting u", "enjoy the 9man report hahaha idiot ahhaha". After I one shot that Jinx my Zilean said to me,"keep doing that and maybe I wont report you hahah." Now I have no account to play on.

I also posted a thread in this forum including my chat logs. I really wish they showed what the other team was saying as well as my team. I was cussed at and verbally harassed and even had racist remarks thrown at me. No one has faith in the system because Riots system only targets the very worst offenders. You can check out their website. They explicitly state that they "you may have a bad game or a bad week". Meaning you gotta be bad for a long time.

Riot doesn't want to actually punish or go after the real issue because it would ultimately lead to a possible net loss in revenue by sending people away even if it would greatly improve the overall experience of the game. All about revenue.

Instead Riot needs to start looking at fighting the problem through other means instead of beefing up their ban system.

I would like to see Riot disable chat in game almost completely. Almost everything can bee communicated by pings and the handful of things we would still need to cover most things could easily be added. Chat in game should be a privilege not a right.
All chat for sure has to be removed. It is optional sure, but its only purpose in the game is to provide an avenue for toxic behavior to all players in the game instead of just your own team. The fact that all chat is still in games is proof that Riot supports this kind of behavior despite whatever PR message they release.
I know initially there were rumors that the new Hexcraft system was going to exclude toxic players. Initially I saw this as a huge win and a way Riot could fight toxic behavior without losing revenue. This idea is now dead. Probably because of Tencent, but the new system is going to be just another revenue stream through additional micro transactions.

Still Riot could fight toxic behavior by removing per game crafting rewards if you were toxic during your game. Start being a toxic player, you no longer are eligible for craft system rewards until you can show good behavior for X amount of games. In theory it would work. In fact it could potential increase the revenue Riot would make by reducing the amount of free currency they give away and forcing people to pay real money for materials to unlock chests.

your post basically says 'the bad men were mean to me and i tattled on them but they still get to play my video game! its not fair!'. jesus. be a man. have a little self respect. this should be embarassing.
