should riot implement a "guilty by association" policy?

lets face it. premade toxicity is a problem. even more so with dynamic queue. with 1 flamer. you can just mute. and half the time you dont even need to report them. but it's difficult to ignore an entire team ganging up on just you.

what if. when you're in a premade with someone who gets a chat restriction or other punishment. if you were toxic in the game that got your buddy punished. you get punished too regardless of how close you are to being punished. maybe it would make people think twice before making groups just to bully solo players

This would be a horrid idea because then people complaining about the 'one game and i was banned' would have something to point to and say 'see, see, that's what happened, unfair ban' and they would be right.

Everyone has bad games, and there is a leeway given so that one game punishments are IMPOSSIBLE unless it is an extreme case. The problems come from people just not reporting people after games, and pre and post game chat is still a place they look to for punishments.

They do that in North Korea. When someone is accused of a crime - say, badmouthing the almighty leader - they lock his entire family in work camps.

Heard it works pretty good. Let's implement this here!

Man, just stop. You are acting like a huge victim constantly, posting a thread every day.

No, everyone is accountable for their own actions. I play with friends some times who would be considered toxic. Why would i get punished for their actions? should they not be the only person punish? By that logic why not just ban everyone in the game by association since they were in the game with a toxic player? you see how idiotic that would be.

So if i team up with strangers, and then find that they were toxic in game. I report them at the end of the game and remove them from my friend list, I'll still get banned cos I sent in the report?

I can understand trying to stop those premade homies from ganging up on others, but can't you just report both of those two?
