Why do taunts have to be toxic/ straight up rude

"I hope you still think that's funny when I slit your throat." Cammile the camel. If someone wrote that in chat it would be a bannable offense. So why enforce it to the players?

You'd be amazed by the history of people killing off others due to competition, but that's beside the point. Words are often subconsciously heard, but they can effect players attitudes. If I was in a game with someone complaining. And I wrote "Everything is Awesome, everything's cool when your part of a team~" from lego movie it would make that player think of that song and alter their mindset to be more functional to the team, However saying the slit your throat enduces anger/ fustration

Its called a Taunt for a REASON. It is intented to Get under your opponents skin. To push thier buttons. To make them want to focus you. Its called playing Head-games with your opponent. Throw them off thier game, disrupt thier balance. You are just looking to be part of the "everything is offensive" crowd, and chose this as your "Rightous Cause" Now get back on your white horse and ride off.

I know you people like to use reasons like "you sound like an X supporter" to invalidate anyone. You dont care about thier points, just who they follow on twitter.

The taunt is just a mean of interaction and "realism". The champion taunts another champion.

Now, a player can use that to taunt the enemy player by repetitively spamming the champion's taunt. And if I'm not mistaken this is a punishable offense.
