Leaver Defenders: "Well how can you tell if it was an intentional leave or disconnect?"

Something like this occurs 4 times out of 5 when I encounter a leaver. They drop a bomb in chat and immediately quit.

No way to tell if it was intentional or not, though, so Riot should continue to not punish leavers. /sarcasm

In before:

Victim Blaming: "Well I haven't encountered a leaver in the last 6 years, so you must have flamed him before he left." (I don't type in chat, and my team wasn't responding to him either)

OP is hiding something: "Did he leave 10 seconds before the match ended??" (See minimap, this was less than 10 minutes into the game)

Parroting Riot's generous leaver policy logic: "He still could have had a lightning strike that coincidentally hit one second after he typed that last statement. Who can say?"

Report them. If they put it in chat, they might get punished.

I had horrible connection for quite some time I often lost wifi signal and disconnected from a lot of games. It never was an excuse. No matter the reason, you or your problems left your teammates in 4v5. Fix it or accept punishments. This is only fair

IMO, leaving a ranked match should make that player have 1 defeat in their next promotion series.

Hold the ragequitters accountable. And before someone says that it can happen to anyone. NO it won't happen to anyone. Most people have steady connections and have make sure they are not on their neighbours wifi but they are instead on a cable connection. And if it was SUCH a huge emergency like "I HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL MY MOM HAD AN ACCIDENT" I have to reply to you, dude your mom was in the hospital and you are thinking about the defeat? Get your fucking priorities straight.
