I see alot of posts about people getting banned

I'm talking to all you people in the "toxic" community and the ones who get to judge you. OK first off 9 times out of 10 the reporter is a troll. Everyone can agree on this. How there is 5 people on your team. One of who is the toxic one one who is a troll and 3 stand by people usually. The person who states that there is a troll on the team has a valid point. It's an unfair advantage to your team that you have a troll on your team. The people who don't say anything are too afraid to get reported by this one guy so they don't say anything. So in any situation the person who is judged toxic is the real person who is trying to reform the game. You can't even be polite to trolls without getting reported now a days. So with toxic people getting banned riot is pushing this game to have Noone with a voice and a bunch of trolls. Now if someone is truly toxic and attacks someone for no reason. That is a different story but if you read the posts of these people on the forums posting about how they got banned and read what they actually said it's reficulous and they should not be even considered toxic. Why is it fair that the last pick person in your team decides they want to mid when your team really needs a support so they go mid. Now your mid is trying to win the game so they go bottom and lack any cc or sheild or heals they got forced to support as a champion such as Diana. That person can say something as simple as "annie what are you doing you were supposed to go support" and Diana gets reported.

Please, stop trying to spread misinformation.

You're allowed to provide constructive criticism or advice to other players. You're not allowed to berate them for every mistake they make.

You're allowed to try to be a team leader/shotcaller. You're not allowed to try to just yell at people constantly until they hopefully give in and listen to you.

You're allowed to defend yourself against harassment, if you do it in a civil manner. You're not allowed to harass other players just because they harassed you first.

The people posting here and trying to defend their actions are always falling into the second half of each of those statements. They're doing something which, on the surface, should be okay. The reason it wasn't okay is because of how they went about it.

And one more point relating to all this: Yes, i would generally expect the troll may well decide to report a player, even if their behavior is fine. But just because you're reported doesn't mean you're going to be punished. In fact, there's a strong possibility that that troll has falsely reported so many people that their reports are ignored by the system anyhow. People are allowed to report for whatever the heck they feel like reporting for, but it doesn't mean they're actually correct that the player deserves a punishment.

Since I know that nothing I'm doing is breaking the rules, I'm confident that I'll never have to deal with a ban of any sort. And frankly, it's pretty easy to not get banned in this game.

This game is full of rage baiters. People complain about how toxic the game is, but at least a quarter of the games I play there is someone doing some truly questionable shit. And when you decide to question said questionable shit, somehow you become the problem. Had an afk for 20 minutes and tried to surrender? They'll hit no. When you say "Why, wtf? We aren't going to win and this isn't fun for me" They call you toxic. Report for negative attitude. Randomly try to say in chat that you're afk anytime you don't move for a few seconds, and just generally try to bait you into raging or saying something that they can in turn use to generate a report. Report is seriously like the most used word in this game. Followed by toxic. And yes...the people who are usually the biggest dicks in the game are the first ones to threaten to report someone. This is why they need to have humans review all bans and such. So the P.O.S. who has nothing better to do with his day than troll games and try to get people to rage at him doesn't manage to slip through the cracks for constantly antagonizing people. It's also amusing that when they give these player reform cards they never show the full extent of the chat. It'll just say you got banned for telling someone to go fuck themselves, without every showing what that go fuck yourself was in response to.

Recently, two days ago, maybe three, I was in a game, called top twice (because recently the chat has been kinda buggy, at least for me) and both appear on chat as the first thing said. I select my champion, runes, masteries, look back at chat, and someone else said so yeah, trade me lanes, I'll go top...they were not talking to me.

I stated I was top as politely as I was able, and was met with one person who confirmed such was the case, and three people (who I found to be a triple queue later on) who claimed I was trolling and needed to stop harassing the guy who actually got it. 3 times that day, people (solo players, not a queue) had done this, expecting me to cave in and say sure,take the lane. I am honestly tired of it, tired of this increasingly toxic community, and tired of them being REWARDED for being, excuse me, an asshole. So I locked in.

In game, we had duo top (fine, we can jsut play it out, The other guy is darius. I gave him the farm early and harrassed the other laner out of lane) - except that all three of that queue continously atagonised me and harrassed me in game and constantly asked the opposing team to report me. About half way thorugh the game, we were losing fairly hard, and the darius was obviously trolling which meant I was behind on farm for nothing, and I snapped, used some strong language to suggest how they could spend their time. It was FAR belwo what they said to me, however, I can assure you. After game, all three i know reported me, the only person on the opposing team to say anything said he wasn't so...no idea how many reports I got. 3 or more.

After the game, I go up, got something to eat, and then went on to my next game without a thought, thinking I could simply put the game behind. Then I got a message that I had violated the summoners code (side note: how can we still have a summoners code if summoners no longer exist in the lore? rito pls) and needed to stop verbally harrassing people. So now my account has a negative impact on it for no reason other than I was slo queueing and three trolls decided to ruin peoples days together.

Look at the down votes on this lol. Even the posts of people explaining why there are trolls. Yes you can explain the summoners code all you want but guess what. It's just a peice if paper. There's bigger problems than people violating the summoners code the fact that you ignore that means you have your blinders on. RIOT DOES NOTHING ABOUT TROLLS AND THERE IS NO CONSIQUENCE FOR DOING IT. Other players suffer from it and of you follow the summoners code exactly you still lose that game.
