These sorts of matches happen way too often. I just had a match where not one, not two, but THREE players went afk. It really feels like nobody gives a damn about whatever your leavebuster system is doing .

Is league full of toxic people? Yes. But saying toxic people are preventing you from playing ranked is ridiculous. A lot people that say that try ranked and just give up. I don't like to bring ranks into discussion, but had you reached plat/high gold or something and said that, then sure I would take your word (yes, I realize I'm not high elo by a longshot).
From my experience the people in ranked are infinitely better than normals. Whenever I play normal games after playing only ranked for a while I get a rude reminder of how salty the people in normals actually are. In theory it only makes sense that ranked games have less toxic players because the people there are more serious and want to win. The only difference is that people take the trolling/feeding/etc a lot worse because the non-toxic players wanted to win so it hurts more to have a game ruined like that, which in turn could possibly set off a chain of more toxicity. BUT the people in normals rage/troll/afk just because it doesn't matter to them if they lose.
One thing that might be a problem is that whenever a player on the other team intentionally feeds or afks then you and your team are less incentivized to report them because secretly you're glad they did. Making it only 4x the report opposed to possibly 9x

^^This. Sorry but that picture imho depicts early surrender more than it does actual afkers. I don't consider myself any kind of expert but I have yet to play a game where our team or the opposing wins in under 15min. This tells me either A) you just happened to stumble upon 4 other completely competent players or the more likely explanation B) you teamed up with a group of friends that are skilled players. If you team up with people and go into a normal game against PUGs expecting a competitive match, you must think really highly of the people that queue for normals. I'm not accusing anyone of anything, trust me I can't stand afkers and wish the penalty was much much more severe. However, that doesn't look like what happened in your game, it looks more like 3 people gave up quickly because of how dominant you were early on. Also, I am in no way, shape, or form condoning such behavior, I just don't think it was 3 people who queue'd then decided to eat lunch instead.

PIMPSMOOTH1 votesSince Riot's system can scan for toxic words/phrases and dole out warnings based on such, they should also include ranked AFK's and griefers.
Any player reported and caught saying anything along the lines of 'I'm AFK/leaving', 'I'm feeding' in a ranked match should be instantly banned from playing ranked matches for 1 month. Second offense would be a 3 month ranked hiatus and third offense perma bans the account.

It's super boring and game ruining. I don't want to play a quick stomp game. I want to be tested and show some skill or something you know?
