its been like 5 minutes since i reported and i still havent gotten the "a player you reported was banned" message

okie

edit: it is now a full hour later and still no message

a-okay, i wasn't just told that "me and my mexican family should go die in an oven" or anything, no sirree

There is no guarantee that you get a message at all. The player may or may not have been punished, but there is not expectation of getting any response back.

Same man. I said "fuck you Nasus" in response and was permanently banned for it :). The automatic ban system is very flawed, and I don't believe humans look over it much due to lack of man power.

Sorry bro, your perma was due to the escalations in the behaviour system. Not for saying "Fuck you Nasus"

After reaching a 14-day ban, any behaviour worthy of a chat restriction results in a perma.

I don't wish to stray from the OP by focusing on myself, but the exact quotations of me saying "fuck you Nasus I was typing" and "stfu" and saying "you're a disgrace to the league community" were the only three negative things I said against another player. The early part of the chat log was me saying blind curse words towards no one, which I read was allowed and not against the rules. The second half of the chat logs are me sounding pitiful, like woe is me, thus coming across as an annoying child (no curses at this point however) and resulting in the entire team disliking me.

You only get the message if you were the last person to report them. Someone else might of reported them as well.

The "a player you reported was banned" message only appears for one of the people who did the reporting. It's possible that someone else reported them, and they got the message.

100% wrong. We reported a very toxic jungler last week and both me and the guy who reported him got the popup. When I got the popup, I added the other guy who was verbally abused and he told me he saw it too.
