unpopular opinion: leavers are as bad as cancer
TLDR (even though this is short): leavers are the cancer of league
no im not talking about people who disconnect or cant connect to a game, youre fine.
I'm talking about the five types of leavers:
- the rage quitters: those who leave because they think they shouldnt waste their time with trash team mates
- the afker: the one who is like "brb gotta pee" then comes back 15 minutes later. How does it take 15 minutes to go pee? same thing with the guy whose like "brb pizza is here"
- The "lets end quickly i gtg soon" (note these may not end up always leaving but i still hate them): those who enter a game KNOWING full and well that they dont have at least 60+ minutes to spare and end up leaving 15-20 minutes in
- The "sorry its lag" leaver: similar to the afker, except his excuse is he is constantly lagging, when in reality he might be afking to go do stuff
- the "base sitter": those who dont leave the game but they base sit and never leave base.
those 5 types of people are cancer to this game and community. sure the punishment system is working better and reducing the amount of these cancers i get grouped with, but everytime i get grouped with these cancers and i know ill lose I am pissed that im forced to play the game if my team wont surrender or leave myself and risk punishment
Im also pissed that theres no loss protection system to keep my lp/series from being gutted
