Had a ranked game with a Diamond player who was auto-filled support. He's 1-16-3 with no Sightstone.

Looking at his match history, he does this every time he gets auto-filled into support. The enemy team reported him and our team reported him, and I can only assume that both teams report him every time he does this.

Why is this player not banned?

They are plat 3, JUST LIKE YOU, not Diamond. LEL.

But then again, it's a Yenn thread, nothing to see here.

Can't be banned for playing poorly and since so many delusional players call anything bad "inting", Riot can't really trust players' judgement. They would have to hire a team specifically to comb through millions of replays to determine whether the person is feeding intentionally or not. I wish they would do something though, because in the very rare occasion that I have an inter on my team, it's incredibly disappointing. In order to be punished for inting or griefing, you'd kind of have to state it in chat, or just do it so blatantly that it cannot be seen any other way. Sucks.

If you find a player to be inting or otherwise feeding/throwing, make sure to report post-game lobby with as many details explaining the incident as possible. After that, it goes to Riot and after enough reports the account gets flagged for review. Remember, you only get the notification your report gave the player a punishment if it was your report that triggered it. If you report, then someone else in the future reports and the account gets punished, you won't be notified.

What I will also say is that not building SS isn't inherently something you can report someone for and get the punished with. If they are outright running it down mid, feeding, and purposely throwing then yes, but not buying SS and having a bad KDA can also be a simple case of a bad game. The key is consistency, if he does this constantly whenever getting autofilled, and he is trolling, the system will do it's job and punish him accordingly.

I just had this happen again.

Auto-filled support, support Ashe, 0-7-0. There were a few times she just walked into the enemy team, and then said 'lol sry bad game' in chat.

But hey, definitely not trolling or intentionally feeding.

If this behavior were actually punished, I wouldn't be encountering this in 1/3 games.
