That is all it took in the past twenty or so games for at least one person to just throw their hands up, claim everyone is intentionally feeding, and try to force a surrender all game while spouting, verbatim, the kind of shit I read in the chat logs here that get people banned. It doesn't matter how far ahead we were before the first death happened, and it doesn't matter under what circumstances it happened. The very instant it happens, people are willing, eager, even outright determined to force a surrender.

In the past two days alone, I lost over 300 LP just from people pulling this petulant bullshit so they can wallow in their despair and complain about how everyone is out to get them or bitch about Riot in whatever way they care to. This is why I have suggested punishments multiple times for this grade of defeatism. The thing that destroys the game's balance more than anything else right now is player morale, which is so abysmal, abysmal is being extraordinarily generous.

We need to find some way to inspire people to continue playing the game, and honestly, I can't think of anything. Coming from a position of unlimited morale, this defeatist attitude is completely alien to me.

When you team flames/blames you for their death in lane and I tell them that they can keep flaming as long as they play gets you chat restricted. I think it is over in terms of team morale. I do not have control over a top laner that did not ward and got killed twice in the first opening 4 minutes then proceed to blasting in my face with his premade. They compared me to a 3 level higher udyr that got fed off their mistakes while I suffer in jungle trying to defend/farm with their team invading while my team clears out my camp without helping me to defend. Imagine that kind of abuse i received and then later received a chat restriction with no where to turn to proof my suffering. Inspiration I did not get, anger I did. I tried so hard to keep the game flowing, making ganks/ saves regardless how badly they treated me verbally and in game. Yet, what I get is not a good job for keeping the game alive, but rather a screw you. So how am I suppose to keep team morale up, when I am the only guy still trying to win the game and then still are punished.
