A red addressed this once on the boards. Basically it was ggez turns into some other phrase to police
No one on League gets banned for saying GGez, either.
I dont think anyone has been banned for only saying "gg ez"

And if you recall, Overwatch was flooded with people saying "ggez" before the feature went live trying to trigger the joke phrases. I'd rather use some other command to send jokes in text, one that isn't inherently unsportsmanlike.
I find gg ez to be pretty obnoxious, coming from a shit talking team that destroys me in any game, but it's not the type of phrase that is going to make me all weepy and report someone. I mean, personally, I just find it extremely low on the totem pole of things people do in an attempt to anger people to the point where I feel a report is necessary.
