The community and the current report system ENCOURAGES trolling(serious post, rioter pls read)

lets talk about the community first.

If you play enough games, you ill realize when someone is super obviously trolling, you would never see the enemy show sympathy toward the players getting trolled. Instead they encourage the trolls to troll more and defend them, why? Because it is a free win for them when the enemy has a troll. They are like the fans of Joker, do they really like this crazy fucker? hell no. why do they support his criminal acts? because he throws cash at them.

Now lets talk about how the report system encourages trolls.

Here is the problem of the system: "intentionally feeding" and "unsportsmanlike conduct"do absolutely nothing. If the troll doesn't say anything bad in the chat, the system will simply think those are rage reports. Instead of punishing these trolls, the ssystem punishes the players who were mad at the troll because obviously they wouldn't say nice things to the troll. The ones who were trolled, actually gets punished, by a system that was meant to punish trolls!

to sum it all up, with how the community and the system currently works, trolls get praised by the enemy team, does not get banned by the system, and can get those whom were trolled banned.

Riot has stated many times they care a lot about player toxicity, but with the current system I don't see how it helps reduce toxicity. A player calling another player bad because they feed is nowhere as bad as these intentional feeders nd trolls. These trolls are the cancer of the community and the game, to make the game enjoyable we need to do something about these trolls!

Im not surprised people arent commenting. People are probably tired of others lying, or pulling things out their asses.Either that or people just assume you are a troll by the pure ignorance in your post. You claim reporting for Intentionally feeding and Unsportsmanlike conduct does nothing, yet show zero evidence against it. You cant claim something doesnt work and give no evidence to back it up! we need proof.

With that you have no understanding on how the reports and bans work with this game. First off you are assume that the rules are on in the same. That someone feeding should be punished not only just the same, but just as fast as someone being toxic in chat. You need to realize that feeding is something hard to identify. You cant just go to the score. Im sure they have some way of looking through the game, but again that takes time. Whereas if you are toxic in chat all you need to do is read the chatlogs (which is why its automated for the most part) Not only that but you fail to realize that feeders/trollers that do get caught suffer a much harsher punishment than someone who is toxic. As they get hit with a 14 day ban right off the bat.

Do people fall in the cracks and get away with it? Sure. This is why we have a comment sections when we report people. People will always try to be creative to cheat the system. Just like in real life.

These are 3 players (high elo btw) that are banned from trolling/intentional feeding. To say that reports do nothing, simply isn't true.

I think the reason think that report do nothing to trolls, is because trolling is a lot harder to detect. For example, playing ap Rengar isn't considered trolling. Playing AD Anivia isn't considered trolling. Sure they are less than ideal builds, but you can't be punished for something like that. You also can't be punished for playing a champion in a different role, playing Aatrox support isn't considered trolling. You may consider them trolls, but according to Riot, that is all above board.

There is also a distinct difference between feeding, and intentional feeding. For example, the other day I tried to play Karthus mid. I'm a shit tier silver player, and I don't play mid that often. I got matched up against a mid lux, who was plat, (this is normals) and as one would expect, I got my shit kicked in. I ended up going something like 0/4 in lane. I was feeding sure, but I wasn't intentionally feeding. I tried to stay safe and farm with my q, but any time I would get hit with a Lux binding, I would die. Intentional feeding looks something like this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxHgnudnysw

I don't know about you, but in my experience, the enemy team says something like "sorry for the troll" I've never seen a troll praised by the enemy team. The one thing I will agree with you on, is (probably) the Unsportsmen like Conduct not doing anything. Just like the Unskilled report column in the old champ select, that was just a placebo report option.

I do, however, take issue with this portion of your OP:

Instead of punishing these trolls, the ssystem punishes the players who were mad at the troll because obviously they wouldn't say nice things to the troll. The ones who were trolled, actually gets punished, by a system that was meant to punish trolls!

As I've shown you before, the system does punish trolls, however they are less likely to bitch about it on the boards because they know what they are doing is wrong. But that doesn't justify those who rage against the trolls. "An eye for an eye only leaves the world half blind" just because someone trolled, doesn't give you the right to rage at them.

The downvotes (though none coming from me, I generally don't vote on the boards) are probably due to people disagreeing with your post with just reading the title. You aren't the first person to post something exactly like this, there is a post like this at least once every 3 or so weeks.
