Why do we have post game chat?

Almost all the experiences of my post game chat are either toxic, or nothing is said. The occasional 1 in every 300 games I play is like. "Good job guys, that was a close game, you're all honored for such good sportsmanship."

I just see no point in post game chat. An example of 50% of post game chat.

Ahri left the room. Thresh left the room. Tristana left the room. Nocturne: report udyr for verbal harassment Nocturne: ty Jinx: lmao Jinx: pussy Nocturne left the room. Jinx left the room. Zed left the room. Udyr: because i shit on u too hard Udyr: :^) Fiora: %%%%%% %%%gots Udyr left the room. Fiora left the room.

I pretty much get this most of the time, just stupid unsportsmanlike every game in post game chat, whether it's on my team or the enemy team.

By the way the only thing I did with the chat is replace the names with the champions.

It doesn't happen often, but post game chat is where you meet some neat people after the game to reflect on how you played. Often this is a member from the opposite team, who you haven't been able to talk to all game.

and the typical "ha look retard i did more dmg" shit. honestly a good question we dont need that chat

Post game chat is another system that Riot has created and MAINTAINED which encourages toxic chat and behavior. The other is all chat. Both have no purpose but to provide another way to be a toxic person.

During the game you don't have access to your in-game stat info. In post game chat you can have discussion after reading everyone's stat, like, support trashtalking how his dmg is higher than ap carry or junglar claiming he placed more wards than garen support...o wait that doesn't show anymore.
