The weirdness of masses, part 1
Every single post about pointlessly kinky fanart on these boards has been downvoted into oblivion in the last year at the very least. People don't like being shoved hidden pornography in their throats when they're in a situation made for other purposes, which is understandable (although already pretty weird given that IRL the large majority of people have no responsibility whatsoever and would accept satisfaction of their primal instincts no matter the context and the partner).
Until yesterday. Now, a kinky fanart of Akali with 180% more boobs (and higher placed), 40% more thigh height, a dress that tries to pretend it's skin and very noticeable nipples is on the front page. Which means that neither the moderation team nor the playerbase found anything wrong with it. And I can conceive that, I've always disagreed with pretty much everyone and it's not a surprise to disagree with the majority again.
But the question then is, why are conceptually identical skin suggestions and fanart treated differently, as in banned by the mods and downvoted by the users, while this one is acceptable?
#And there's my theory. People have mental complexes regarding sex, they'd want their whole life to revolve around it but they're afraid of social pressure. So, if the first vote on a post is a downvote, the following readers will feel thet pressure to consider it unacceptable and downvote it. However, if it is an upvote, bypassers will feel confident and consider it legitimate.
