If you are not going to punish trolls and inters, at least disable their ranked for a few games???

If players are OBVIOUSLY trolling, threatened the whole team with a loss because "you all deserve it" or some stupid shiz people always say, and building troll 3 item 3031 or just any other completely useless build on purpose just to lose, they should be banned, if not from the whole game, THEN AT LEAST RESTRICT THEM FROM RANKED, even if it were just a few games,

No one wants to play with these trolls who are trying to make the whole team lose, or have someone talk trash on them AND THEN GET THEM BANNED FOR "saying mean things" to the troll.

You are harsher on punishment for people who talk shit, although you can mute them...

**But you are lax on punishment for PLAYERS WHO DONT EVEN WANT TO PLAY THE GAME... They just want to ruin the game for 4 other people... ** Its seen in 10-25% of games, IN RANKED PLAY... and its just gone too far, for too long...

If these people just wanted to mess around and play dumb stuff, thats fine, thats why there is normal mode...

But when u allow players who REPEATEDLY troll and int on purpose to ruin the ranked experience for others, and you dont punish it, you have a big problem... Its festering in the community, because players have begun to realize, if they just dont talk, and run it down lanes while killing minions but refusing to try to win the game in any other way, they wont be banned.

No one wants to see this type of player in ranked, stop letting people get away with it.

Your solution is actually pointless. If they could confirm quick enough to block ranked games (which I don't understand why everyone's solution is to throw them into norms), then they could give the ban instead.

The problem is too many people cry troll when it isn't the case. For example with the Infinity edge case, at one point Jhin was building 2 or 3 as a build path. Hell it is super common in urf to build multiple of them too. The only time a build is completely useless is when there is no benefit to it. Like building ap items on someone who has nothing that scales with ap.

Riot bans those that they determine to be trolling (including intentionally feeding). What you're suggesting is effectively LESS punishment for trolling.

It's not like Riot is sitting on their hands and deliberately passing over accounts that they know to be trolls. They're just bad at detecting trolls in such a large playerbase that is filled with people who overreact over the smallest mistake or difference in decision. Riot errs on the side of caution because they don't want to punish someone incorrectly for trolling.

Trolls do get punished quite readily. Back in the day, the system used to be completely broken, and when I was at my most toxic I could get away with blatantly inting in about one every 20 matches or so without any repercussions, but nowadays they have milder punishments like chat restrictions that they'll give you for being a bit grumpy in a match, so you certainly can't get away with stuff nowadays.
