For those with experience at different elos, which bracket has the most toxic players?

Something I've been thinking about since trying to play in ranked. Players just as low of skill as I am calling myself (And others on their team) out as being trash, should uninstall, r%%%%%ed, etc.. I was wondering if this was a consequence of them just projecting their own inadequacies, or something which gets even worse as players move through ranks and become increasingly intolerant of misplays.

So I'm putting a poll here to find out. I would greatly prefer if the responses are from players that have played or witnessed extensively the kind of banter that goes on in the different levels of play, to get a better perspective on what goes on.

As I've found myself in Iron again, I'm not too pleased with the players I've run into. Had multiple people say they were just fucking around on purpose, because fuck everybody. Had one person say they were going to AFK at the start of the match, and then did it. Had another player leave the match after 1 death, only to come back 20-25 minutes later to tell the team struggling to 4 v 5 "this is why you'll always be stuck in this ELO"

Honestly, if that's the kind of players you run into...yeah...I can imagine I'll be stuck there quite a while.

Coming from my perspective at Diamond 2, I'd say silver or plat. I haven't been in silver for a long time tho. May make a smurf to climb this season.

My brother (who has been from Bronze 5 in Season 3 to high Diamond since Season 6) says that intense chat toxicity is more prevalent below Diamond, but people soft-int and get moderately angry super often in Diamond.

I have experiences from iron to GM. I can say, it's all the same, everywhere you have players that are frustrated, annoyed by their team, tend to blame Riot for their position, blame mm etc.

Only thing I can say is that in iron, ppl seemed to be really chill and nice, ofc with expectations, but majority just wanted to have fun, many of them has bad hw or internet, thus their position. Idk what it was, but it felt like what normals should feel like.

There are many ppl in gold that hitted their wanted elo and play for fun, but many of them are overshadowed by hardstucks and toxic new accs.

Flaming toxicity i don't really care about at all. a player flaming has never lost me a game. And i know some people will be like but what about if someone flamed your teammate and he afked? No i lost because The Player afked. Or anything similar to that yes the flamer is annoying and unneccesary but i've never truely lost a game because someone was mean. What i have lost games to is the players who calls you over and smites the blue while inting every lane and saying "im trying my best" or the players who smite all my cannons or the supports who take all the adcs CS. Words will NEVER be even close to as toxic as griefing/ingame trolling.

Id say they are all equally toxic. Havent been to high elo but from what I gather its where people start to feel like gods and get a giant ego.

Mid is where most people are flat out toxic. They believe they should be in high elo but their team is holding them back.

Low elo is where people tilt and just want to leave the game. Usually inting or just leaving.

Bottom of the pack is probably the least toxic.

Even though Ive only been Gold, from my experiences, its plat players. They are routinely the ones who rage quit and/or rage in normal games, since I do spam a lot of those. And, when you get up into gold 1/2, you face lower plat people, and those guys rage their faces off.

High gold for me is the LEAST toxic because everyone is making that strong push to try to get to plat... My worst experiences is high silver. Everyone wants to get those rewards by hitting gold and get really toxic and sweaty if even one thing goes wrong during their games.

gold is the gateway to rewards, most silver players think they're gold tier.

huge egos everywhere.
