Why do people have to flame in post game after they've won?

Just got out of a game where i was Shyv and this Lee Sin was doing extreme ganking on my team. Game later goes on and a kill him a few times, he talks about how OP Shyvana is. Nothing too infuriating, if not just being a natural response. Later we end up surrendering the game cause it isn't going so well for us and in post game the Lee starts bragging how "EZ" Shyv was, how I needed to gank more, and us kids need to "get gud".

This kind of behavior I think just gets to me the most when it comes to post game chat. Yeah, you died to a fairly simple mechanics-based champ, but that doesn't give you any sort of right to act like a fucking dick in chat by grieving over those few deaths by me afterwards. You got your victory, just take it and try being a fucking sportsmen about it.

Report that kind of behaviour, as it is an offense as per the Summoner's Code. 6. Show Humility in Victory, and Grace in Defeat

I may get down voted to oblivion for this but I do not care. They do such things because they think that winning a game of League of Legends is a big deal. Wake up, winning a game of League does not mean anything. All this means that you are better than somebody else in a fucking video game. A video game of all things. Either that, or the fact that you are good at League is the only thing you have going for you.

I can't agree more with this post!!! When I play, even if I win by a stomp it never crosses my mind to gloat. It's actually repulsive when I witness this from people. Be sportsmanlike in victories.

Sometimes I would smash the enemy laner but I would still loose the game due to several reasons, and at the end of the game, the enemy laner I smashed would say "gg ez". Maybe its because they know that they were carried and they are salty because of it.

Is there actually a place to report people for their post game chat behavior? I'm very upset that people can call one another %%%gots and tell others to kill themselves with no method of punishing this. I do have a screenshot of this for the record, but would prefer to not have to publicly post it.

That's why I hate "gg ez". I get the strategical value in trying to tilt the enemy team with your bm, but after the game is over you don't need to do it anymore. You won. Go home. Be a family man.

It's funny when it was a 4v5, and the other team still tries to trashtalk in post game lobby, trying to make it seem like they easily won a 'fair' match purely because of how skilled they are.

This is funny, lose a game. Being a sportsman doesn't mean not gloating. You lost, you can instant leave or you can ignore chat to do your honor and report

You fail to mention the chat logs of this game. If you talk shit in a game and lose expect to get hit. People gloat over their ability to perform. Really never once say something about a test to another student who may have not done so hot?

Because this a large part of the community is toxic & reporting people who flame doesn't result in anything happening more often than not.

They do this to make you feel better about losing. As in, sure you lost the game, but now you get to report them

You just have to remind yourself that the people raging at your IN GENERAL, not even just post game chat, have incredibly low self esteem and the only way they can feel better is by dragging you down with them. Your basically kicking there butt mentally all over the game even if you lose the game itself. Just smile and move on.

They don't have to, but a lot of people are dicks online and they know it bothers people like you. That's why they do it. Good job confirming that they're getting what they want by doing it. Great. Give them the attention they want.

Theres also the fact that they are free to do so without any fear of reports because the automated system doesn't see postgame chat.
