Why do people have to flame in post game after they've won?

Just got out of a game where i was Shyv and this Lee Sin was doing extreme ganking on my team. Game later goes on and a kill him a few times, he talks about how OP Shyvana is. Nothing too infuriating, if not just being a natural response. Later we end up surrendering the game cause it isn't going so well for us and in post game the Lee starts bragging how "EZ" Shyv was, how I needed to gank more, and us kids need to "get gud".

This kind of behavior I think just gets to me the most when it comes to post game chat. Yeah, you died to a fairly simple mechanics-based champ, but that doesn't give you any sort of right to act like a fucking dick in chat by grieving over those few deaths by me afterwards. You got your victory, just take it and try being a fucking sportsmen about it.

I totally agree with you, "GGEZ" is a Plague.

In fact, i do believe the current automated systems handling the bulk of the player behaviour reports is deeply flawed and does not nearly do a sufficient job. However that does not make the statement wrong, it simply isn't enforced as it should, which sadly cannot be fixed unless riot does something about it.

I can't agree more with this post!!! When I play, even if I win by a stomp it never crosses my mind to gloat. It's actually repulsive when I witness this from people. Be sportsmanlike in victories.

Don't judge me for this, but I'll report my own team (Pre-queue) if they do this and the enemy team was polite. If the enemy team was rude then I let it slide A-okay

I may get down voted to oblivion for this but I do not care. They do such things because they think that winning a game of League of Legends is a big deal. Wake up, winning a game of League does not mean anything. All this means that you are better than somebody else in a fucking video game. A video game of all things. Either that, or the fact that you are good at League is the only thing you have going for you.

Sometimes I would smash the enemy laner but I would still loose the game due to several reasons, and at the end of the game, the enemy laner I smashed would say "gg ez". Maybe its because they know that they were carried and they are salty because of it.

Is there actually a place to report people for their post game chat behavior? I'm very upset that people can call one another %%%gots and tell others to kill themselves with no method of punishing this. I do have a screenshot of this for the record, but would prefer to not have to publicly post it.

You can use the normal report button, but then add a comment about it being the post-game lobby where they showed it. Riot still saves those logs (along with pre-game), they can pull them up and check it out.

That's why I hate "gg ez". I get the strategical value in trying to tilt the enemy team with your bm, but after the game is over you don't need to do it anymore. You won. Go home. Be a family man.

You fail to mention the chat logs of this game. If you talk shit in a game and lose expect to get hit. People gloat over their ability to perform. Really never once say something about a test to another student who may have not done so hot?

If you gloat to yourself (not in chat) that's fine. But when you put it in chat, that falls under several of the things you listed: taunting an enemy, excessive celebration, and sometimes verbal abuse.

Gloating isn't just being proud of your victory, it's bragging and putting the enemy down. "GGEZ", "git gud", "get rekt", etc.

Damn straight. Let me explain 4 people care because by me winning they also win 5 care because by me winning they had to lose

So simply put if you care about climbing in ranked, then you care about losing as well. I care win someone else wins, because it means I lost. I guess playing norms all day everyday gets you to believe games don't matter(because they don't in norms) Ranked matters a bit more solely because by being ranked, you actually improve in skill level. Climbing matters, if not to you thats fine. you will never become better than you are now(because you have no motivation to do so) Get ranked, and post your ranking. Then with the same who gives a shit attitude get to the next actual rank(gold-->plat) not a division. I'll believe that you are indeed right and I am wrong if you can do just that

You're lucky then, this happens almost every time I get a 4v5 in ARAM.

Sometimes I'm the one asking 'was x AFK'? or 'sorry about x afk gg' if they played well despite AFK, when the other team had an AFK.. but then they flame more instead of blaming the AFK they'll start saying "we would have lost anyways even if x wasnt afk cause Y was so terrible"

You just have to remind yourself that the people raging at your IN GENERAL, not even just post game chat, have incredibly low self esteem and the only way they can feel better is by dragging you down with them. Your basically kicking there butt mentally all over the game even if you lose the game itself. Just smile and move on.
