Very frustrated at UX with losing internet connection

So I had started a ranked game, then my internet took a dump less than 2 minutes into the game. It came back about 4 minutes later and I tried to reconnect as best I could, but kept getting "Cannot connect to server" error messages. Finally I reloaded the client to get a warning dialogue that tells me to type "I Agree" in the I will not leave any more games window, and afterwards I found out the game was remade. I don't blame my team for remaking, they had no idea I was sitting there trying as best as I could to reconnect. But seriously this is insulting and HIGHLY vexing. I didn't "choose" to leave the game, Comcast chose for me. And the UI wouldn't tell me the game was remade until I closed and reloaded the client, which left me in perpetual trying to connect limbo. I realize this thread has two components, the UX side and the Behavior side, so before the delete happy moderators come out and start deleting threads (another pet peeve of mine), my beef here has to do with the "I agree to stop leaving games" prompt when the situation was entirely out of my control. I NEVER willingly leave a game. Doesn't leaverbuster detect network connectivity issues?

Riot is unable to tell if you willingly disconnected or if you were forced to. All I have to do to mimic a "connectivity issue" is unplug the internet cord or simply disable the network on my computer. If anything, the prompt is there to make sure you know that disconnecting from the game is taken more seriously than most other games.
