The lack of punishment for not trying to win in ranked is out of hand. This is really fucking sad.

I'm encountering players who just stop trying and try to 'speed up' a loss, because they no longer feel like playing, or got mad at someone on the team.

This shit is happening constantly, and I'm really fucking sick of it. This particular player has done this to me twice today, and I imagine it's done it many more times in the past.

Basically, it got 'tilted' and started doing something similar to intentional feeding, but still 'playing,' because it wanted to get out of the game. In this particular game, both top and bottom had won their lanes, but this player kept doing stupid things like diving full health champions.

Team mates said they were going to report him for intentional feeding, to which he responded 'I'm still playing, nothing is going to happen, I do this all the time when I don't feel like playing.'

This is out of control. This should not be something I see repeatedly, every single day, and I should never be encountering any player who has done this enough that they're confident they won't be punished for it.

People honestly just have really bad days. It's a morale thing and it feels like if you mess up and lose, you plummet hard and stay down. It's debilitating. All you can really do is try to help them get relevant again or keep the attitude positive as much as you can. I am pretty sure sometimes people feel helpless or useless and it's no excuse to throw in the towel, but humans have emotions.

I agree fully. The problem is, Riot says it's to difficult to distinguish these players from those who are having an extremely bad game. I think this a bad argument, though, because there's a certain point at which extremely careless feeding (0-14-1 and the like) is basically the same as intentionally feeding. I recently made a post about this where I explain my reasoning in-depth and offer a solution for it. Based on what you've written here, I think it's something you may be interested in. I'd like to hear your thoughts over on the thread's page. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/6qUT19A0-intentional-vs-careless-feeding
