People who threaten an AFK should be instantly, immediately permabanned.

I've threatened to afk if my jungler took another of my waves without any reason or take every single blue buff despite me carrying the game. I've threatened to afk when I'm getting hard camped by the jungler and my jungler is sitting on his thumbs instead of helping other lanes and taking advantage of the fact that I'm essentially 1v2ing. I've threatened to afk if my team refused to stop running it one by one down mid and dying.

I've done it. It's not the proper way to go about it. And I've never actually afk'd. But sometimes I feel I need to make my point that if you do not start doing things you are supposed to do in this game I do not want to play it anymore. Sometimes people don't realize how serious you are about something until you say "dude, do this or I'm afk".

I agree it's toxic, and it's not the way to go about things, but at the same time I get why people say it. And I've never reported someone for threatening to afk, only if they actually did it. If anything I end up honoring people that overcame their frustration and stayed.

so..........if I understand what the definitions of "instantly" and "immediately" correctly, instead of just someone who threatened to AFK, you want an ACTUAL afk in your current game (again, "instantly" and "immediately")? That doesn't sound like a very smart idea....

A threat to do something isn't them actually doing, at the most it's toxic and needs to be reportable but not bannable.

If they simply threatened to afk isn't them doing it so why would they be banned for it?

I would afk on you just because it triggers you.... even if the account gets banned one can always make another one....

^ that is the mindset of a troll there is nothing you personally can do to quell it, and they will exist into perpetuity all you can do is control your reaction to it.
