why is nameshame not allowed, but linking your match is allowed?

now dont get me wrong, i totally support the "we dont want a witchhunt" idea. but think about it it makes no sense

what im not allowed to do: link a players profile (if im talking negative about him/his behavior) name a player

what i am allowed to do: link my match history that includes said player. name the champ the player played

where is the difference? if im allowed to say "look at my last match, the annie was feeding" everyone can click on the link to my last match and SEE THE ANNIES NAME!

its literally the same thing isnt it?

"but not everyone is going to check out your match history" and im pretty sure most ppl also wont write down the named players name and check the list of "trolls" with their 4 teammates every single time.

im just curious, mods explain pls, then i'll most likely delete the thread again

No, those are typically taken down. Basically, don’t make it absurdly easy and obvious to find that players name.

That one way is direct (you show it in the forum) and the other is indirect (you tell them they have to enter another site).

If I publish a link with "illegal" content I break the rules, if I tell you "search for x word to download x content" I am not breaking the rules, at least not directly.
