PSA: theres a difference between saying "f you" and saying "f that ability/champion/item"

If i say, "fck you" to someone, that is being toxic and you should report me. If i say, "fck Karmas hitbox" (just a random example), that is not being toxic and you cannot report me just for saying "f*ck".

And before people say this, no, i am not a recently punished salty player. I have recieved one punishment on this account in the last year. I am simply saying this due to the fact that i have seen multiple people try to report others over them saying something like "f*ck that champion" and i am getting pretty tired of seeing this. Carry on folks.

Some people are insanely oversensitive to swearing even though there's a filter in game they can use so it's muted.

I legit had someone ask "can you not swear?" in all chat for some reason. Since I'm an Aussie I decided the only appropriate response was "I'll fucking swear when I fucking want to", if he didn't like it he can mute me.

what filter? "fck" is not going to be filtered out by most system.

Who's the asshole here? Someone politely asked you to not swear. You responded with an asshole reply when you could politely replied with "No, I reserve my rights to swear. You should mute me."

This is a SHARED space of 10 people, if someone is uncomfortable with something and ask you POLITELY not to do it, simply respond with a "No" would also suffice instead of going full asshole douche bag mode.

You do make a good point about the intent of the statement. But, if I'm playing with 15038RassberryMuffin2141231, I'm just going to call them Karma, not their player name. That'd make an example of "fck Karma" a bit harder to parse. I know that wasn't your example, but a shorthanded way of saying that you don't like a champion's kit can sound like you're attacking a player if you don't use full sentences in in game chat.

That is the exact opposite of what I said.

I agreed with the OP.

Then I brought up that a player is often referred to by the name of the champion they're playing.

My next step was giving a warning that if you're imprecise with your language you could still be perceived as toxic.

Your example sentence uses precise language and full sentence structure. Which is what I said was perfectly fine, in agreement with the OP. But, your response to me brings up another point. Some people aren't very good at reading comprehension, there is the possibility of being viewed as toxic even if your statements are not. So, I would further venture to keep complaints out of game chat, and place them on the forum, to potentially avoid in-game tilting of your team.
