Can a Red or Red Wanabe answer some Q's about permabans?

Is the permaban automated via IFS, or does every permaban require manual audit?

If manual, is the entire account looked at, or just the recent reports?

Do they look at the amount of games you play?

Do they take slow but apparent reform into account?

ie, you get 14D for serious offences, agree that its wrong, reform mostly but still rude. You've clearly made an effort to head in the right direction, but still need some help/time/encouragement.

Have they considered a mentor program for those receiving 14 day bans?

ie, use the honor system or similar. Those deemed honorable and overall a good summoner play a few voluntary matches with those who have been banned to try and to lead by example. The mentors could also weigh in on the decision for next disciplinary action. Those who take it seriously and help remove toxicity could receive an icon. Similar to sponsors for drug addicts. It would also help league be more social, because those who actually reform have made a friend in their sponsor.

The system isn't entirely about reform. There's room for reform, but ultimately, if you are still an ass after three punishments, you just aren't a fun person to play with.

Most permabans are Manual. They most likely look at the whole account and the recent reports. I don't think they would care about how many games they played. If you are contantly getting reported and restrictions, it is only a matter of time before they pull the plug on your account.

They used to have a program. It didn't work and they got rid of it.

I'll assume by the rude "red wannabe" title you mean the actual title "Arbiter" and go ahead and answer your questions.

Permabans are manually reviewed.

The account history is taken into consideration, including recent punishments.

Most likely.

That is not reform. If, after two chat restrictions and a 14 day ban you still don't understand that it's not OK to talk shit in game, then you'll move up to the next punishment tier.

Maybe, I'm not knowledgeable about every little thing that Riot discusses. I would assume that this is not a viable option though, as there are millions of players of League every single day. If you want someone to mentor you, it'd be easier to just find one yourself.
