TFW you get forced into a role you don't play, and you tell them that
And then you lose, and they're like, no offense but you suck at that role. Like well no shit what made you think that? It's not like I told you it's my worst role or anything.

Why not just dodge, lose 3 lp, save your mmr the hit, then requeue in 5 minutes?
If you get stuck in a position where you can't play you should probably dodge. You will end up losing the game for not just you, but everyone else. You cannot expect other people to 'carry you" the onus is on you. Everyone in the game has a set MMR which determines your rank so if you are playing a bunch of Golds and Mid - gold play top - gold play - jg - gold play and you're support and you go - bronze play.
The chances are they will lose the game because of your inability in one position. You can either dodge, accept the loss based off your faults or go learn that position (most recommended)
I recall once when I was kid being forced to play as a catcher in a baseball game. I tried to tell my coach that I could not play as a catcher and I did not want to. They made me anyway. Three pitches in, I took a pitch directly to my knee because I did not perform the catcher's stance correctly. If I knew then what I know now, I would have hated my coach from that day forward because my knee hurt for hours. If I remember correctly, they then assigned the catcher's role to someone who wanted the position in the first place.
I've been in this situation in League before as well. A player told me I had to be the jungle role because there was no one left. I found that amusing and told them so. Needless to say, I did not take the jungle during the game. I did not say another word during the game but was still reported for offensive language. More likely the person who told me I should take the jungle used that to complain to Riot that I was refusing to play how that person wanted me to. To that person, I say "You don't tell me how to play."
To the OP, you should have just played however you wanted. Unless you do something dumb like fail to participate or intentionally feed the enemy kills, Riot won't punish you for playing how you want.
Never enter ranked until you know the general basics of EVERY role and have at least ONE champion you can play in each role. I'm not saying you're at fault for being put in this position but you ARE at fault for not practicing and working on improving your own gameplay. If you can perform the main basics and play at least one champion in every role then you at least have a fighting chance to not drag your team down by being "put in your worst role".
