How do I not rage at AFK trolls?

If a player on my team DC'd I will try my best to assume something urgent came up. As long as they were doing fine beforehand, I don't usually get too upset.

If a player on my team is feeding(unintentionally) hard, I will do my best to help the said player by ganking their lane and even sacrifice a kill so they can get ahead.

What am I supposed to assume when a player sits idly in spawn doing absolutely nothing but click an occasional button or 2 over and over again. I had a Nasus that ruined my first win in the promotion series( luckily I won the second ) that was contributing nothing to the team. He had a cs score of 8 and a 0/2/1 KDA. If this happens again, I might rage again and get banned or muted so how do I control myself?

Drink water, eat healthily, if you need to stand up and do a few jumping jacks. Honestly you would be surprised at how taking care of yourself can improve your mental state. Things like dehydration can completely mess with the way you think.

Also make it something like water or milk, lay off the sodas/beer when you are playing games. They are all right so long as you make sure to get some actual food/liquids in you.

Finally beyond that remember that it is a game. Games exist to have fun in. Don't let that fucker ruin your fun eh? Ignore them, pretend they DC'd, and try to win anyways. Afterwards throw a report at them with polite wording and be on your merry way.

If nothing else then as a last resort go into your key bindings and rebind your chat key to something random by holding Ctrl, closing your eyes, and randomly hitting a letter. Then spam the scroll wheel so you can't see what you put in and hit save.

You can't rage in chat if you can't open it.

Mute everyone, Then it gets easier. For example, Easyfoon, is only saying that to annoy you even more. "O its just a joke", the person knows the intention they are trying to have perceived, and use it as a way of creating a state of Dejection. If you remove the chat feature then you have a somewhat decent experience.

i do rage sometimes, I just enter /note command before I do(used as /all is used). What it does is save the text to a txt file in your league of legends folder. It was meant for testers to make notes I think.

If that doesn't work, temporarily bind your enter to your f12, since most rage will go as a twitch reaction. Having chat on the wrong key breaks that reaction and causes you to focus.
