Are there bots in ranked Rift nowadays?

I ask because I never ran into one on Rift before, even in norms. Then last game I had a Soraka who stood stationary behind my team all the time and wouldn't leave her post. She'd follow me around the entire time keeping me healed on a perfect follow-the-leader path and literally would not move from behind us unless the enemy team got into range, in which case she'd immediately Q, and if they got dangerously close or threw an ability she'd dodge perfectly most of the time.

The only thing funny about this story is that we won and she ended the game with an S-. I'm actually worried about the state of ranked now, though.

Point of bots is to level account to 30 and sell it. There is no reason to bot in ranked as they need account clean from ranked games to be able to sell it. Also they dont want those accounts banned so they dont really bring it into summoners rift where most players play. They do it against bots or in ARAM.

Did your Soraka place any wards. Cause bots wont place wards

She did place a lot of wards, just... I dunno. You'd have to have been there. Her mechanics and behavior were extremely odd, let's put it that way.

... Although all the wards she placed were in fountain while she spammed her support vision item. She didn't actually put any out on the rift.

Nah, i doubt its a bot. Those bots arent programmed well, they wouldnt build properly, they wouldnt react to enemy champions. They usually just run and die.

No, literally everyone in the game suspected the support was a bot or at least running scripts because of how she behaved. My team and the enemy team included.
