stop reporting players

please stop reporting people because you the person that is reporting some one are a hypocrite and contradict your self. What i mean by that is do not act like you as a player have never been toxic what so ever nor have been afk nor have gotten smashed which is the same as intent feeding or just sucking because whats the difference there really is none due to the fact that both players still died nonstop and if 4 other players can win they will it happens all the time. whats that your top laner died 14 times in lane and you still won the game or whats that your jungler is walking under turret and chasing and you still won the game. So with that 99.9% of the community is toxic or has been toxic or something that can be construed as being toxic saying gg can be toxic so yah there is that why no one wants to lose or likes to lose so saying nothing is better. Also do not act like you have never afkd from a match because pretty much every one has. So with that so what if some one is toxic chances are you'll never play with them again so why does it matter if you report them? So with that give people the benefit of the doubt and do not reprot people becuase in the end YOUR every bit as guilty as the player you just reproted that to me is plain wrong

That's like saying no one should ever report crimes to the police because everyone has sped or jaywalked. It's moronic. There's a huge difference between speeding and murder.

It sounds like you just got a chat restriction and are undergoing behavior denial.

Everyone is responsible for their own actions. Justifying misdeed by saying everyone else does it as well is not a valid excuse, especially when not everyone actually does it. For every screaming brat that 'punishes' their team for saying something they dont want to hear, there are a dozen adults that dont give a shit about what the angry kid on their team thinks or says.

I remember getting a few chat restrictions years ago, before i realized there is no point in trying to argue with useless trash (first rule: dont feed the trolls). I have definitely never AFKed from a game on purpose, intentionally fed, or trolled - aside from picking weird stuff in blinds, and still making a solid effort to win.

I would hazard a guess that the vast majority of the LoL community has an equal or better track record, the toxic trash minority is simply vocal.

Intentional feeding isnt punishable due to feeding part. But due to your intention to ruin game. Feeding is ok, losing game for your team is ok.

I'm not really a hypocrite. I don't flame and I don't go afk. I have 2900 wins and 2700 losses (normal games). I've played this game for 7 years and I only have 4 leaver marks on my account and that's due to connection problems. I have recieved 0 bans, chat restrictions or warnings. Yes, I am feeding in some matches. However, I do unwillingly so and the only alternative would be to either stay afk in my base or hug the tower on someone elses lane and thus handicap my teammate. Please don't treat feeding and intentionally feeding as the same thing. Also, I never report someone for having a bad game. The game is designed around snowballing and unless your enemy screws up or you get heavily assisted by your jungler, chances are you get crushed in lane after dying once. That's just how this game is.

As to "chances are you'll never play with them again". That's true. however, that doesn't really matter. Others will have to play with the toxic player and that's something I don't want either. If you're normally pretty chill and just have a outburst for whatever reason, chances are my report won't affect you anyway.

Think you're confused about the report system. Getting reported 1 game for something won't ban you but when you accumulate reports over several games that's when it matters. Which is why you should report players to flag down ones that are repeat offenders and do toxic things casually.

If i'm toxic, int feeding or have been afk every game people shouldn't report me?????. Sounds like you don't want to be punished for afks or being toxic.

Wrong.

But I rarely report players who aren't bots.

I really need to remember to report payer bots more often. I often forget.

I rarely afk and even more rarely behave anywhere close to "toxic". I imagine I've been reported each and every time that I've afk'd. I deserved to be, and knew it when I walked away from the game. That's the choice I made when I decided to be done with the game. Actions have consequences. If the behavior is truly rare, then the consequences will be light. I've never suffered more than a slap on the wrist for whatever poor behavior I've engaged in. Reporting is the means by which the disciplinary system identifies consistently poor behavior. Furthermore, it is a logical fallacy (Tu Quoque , meaning "you too") to assert that a person's guilt makes their opinion of another's guilt irrelevant.

So if someone calls me a "N word" we'll say, I shouldn't report them for racial slur? (I'm not black, but still)
