My common response to crap behavior

After looking at some of the "I got banned" threads here, I came up with the perfect response to people who want to start raging at anyone or start slinging racism and other such offensive language.

"How much money did you say you spent on that account?"

One of the things that people bring up the most when they get that ban is how much money they spent on their account. You think if they cared that much, they'd hold back on their foul and abhorrent language.

in one of my last games a guy in champselect posted a screen of him getting the message that his report got someone banned and he said "you better behave or you are in for a ban" one guy said "couldnt care less %%%" and flamed the whole game long ;D

You'll have to tweak it a bit for the rage state they're in. They probably aren't thinking clearly. They might think you're accusing them of having bought the account. [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

People with money shouldn't think that they're above the law or rules because they have money. That's privilege, and people shouldn't abuse that.

Apparently you didn't see six figure salary guy's post last week. Something something, 6 banned accounts, something something, has enough money to keep buying new ones.

I really dont get why people feel the need to bring it up in the first place. They only seem to use it as an excuse because they believe that if they spend money on this game that they deserve some type of special treatment. In this case being able to slide when breaking the rules. Which to my knowledge rarely happens in this type of business.

I actually asked in one of my support tickets why Riot doesn't mention "money spent" on the reform cards for 14-day bans, since it's easily accessible information now using that information page.

The Rioter who was conversing with me told me that they don't do that because they want players to reform because it's the right thing to do, not because of any monetary value.

I wasn't even aware that that info page existed until about a month after my own ban. I'd never known or bothered to estimate just HOW much money I'd put into my account, and finding out after the fact really hurt.
