guide to not tilting your own teammates.
Often times. people fail to realize how their actions "or lack thereof" can be agonozingly frustrating to their teammates. here are some tips to minimize tilt on your team
-
if someone is already struggling or tilted, and very obviously asking for help. do your best to help them recover. if you can't . dont make the situation worse by flaming/mocking/telling them to stfu.. and try not to flat out ignore them either. just say something simple like "sorry, i can't help you"
-
if you havent muted all. respond if typed to, keep it short. but let people know you're listening. the only exception would be if you're chat banned. in which case you should save your chat for dragons and barons only. but tell people in pregame lobby you're chat restricted that way at least people know. being ignored can be a source of tilt.
-
dont mention people's KDA. having a poor score doesnt make someone "bad" and it certainly doesnt give you the right to treat them like a leper for the duration of the game. particularly if they have been asking for help.
-
try not to make yourself unintentionally look like a troll ignoring advice while feeding, watching people die, afk farming, are all ways you may be doing this. among others
-
don't mention the word "report" unless it's in a last resort attempt to get someone to stop flaming, and even then. only do it once. as spamming it will only cause frustration and may get you banned.
"example
Player A is typing nonstop and flaming,
Player B. "player A. please stop typing, you're becoming a distraction
Player A. "fuck you"
player B. "last warning. stop typing in chat or im reporting you "
if player A doesnt stop after this. mute them and then report. and DO NOT SPAM
