it should be an instant permaban if you get caught. ALL gameplay related offenses should be an instant permaban after enough valid reports with the exception of afk

One act does not define a man. Yes, trolling and feeding should be dealt with properly, but if it is only a single session where the player chose to do this (keep in mind this is only for trolling and feeding, "Toxicity" is something entirely seperate that should be banned.) But if people are just being stupid for stupid's sake, just let it be a game (less ranked, where such behavior is due to said player being toxic) and think about how they wont be in your life 20 minutes from then

Varying mindsets would disagree, perhaps someone is simply in a bad mood, this does not mean they are a bad person the week later.

That's irrelevant. They should not have done it in the first place. They broke the rule, they deserve it. Also, it's selfish of them to be an ass and ruin it for 9 others.

not any act. just trolling or feeding. verbal toxicity would still be treated normally

not every crime. however, intentionally feeding/trolling in the context of league could be equated to premeditated murder. therefore deservng of the death penalty, even on a first offense

toxicity can be muted. intentional feeders cannot

You should not get instantly perma banned for trolling / feeding imo. I just received a 14 day suspension for feeding after my team intentionally banned my champ and proceeded to be dicks about it. After the suspension I will not feed again as I have learned my lesson and don't wish to loose my account with over $500 dollars spent on it. Yes, feeding was immature and I did deserve the suspension, but other than that incident I am a good and friendly player. I have had no prior bans or restrictions against my account and as I said earlier in my post I will not be feeding again after this restriction. All some people need is a wake up call that if they continue with their current actions they will be punished.

i just killed someone in cold blood, but i only killed one person and i "learned my lesson"

of course it isn't i was using an extreme example to make a point. that certain offenses dont deserve second chances, cheating and scripting are already an instant permaban. my opinion is that intentionally feeding/trolling should be as well. at the very least in ranked

If a player does things that are considered Griefing on a regular basis, they will be punished with increasing harshness based on the punishment system that is currently in place. Eventually it will lead to a permanent ban, but not giving players sufficient opportunity to reform in the first place is not terribly fair. I am not entirely sure if you are implying that the first offense that someone is reported for should be a permanent ban, or if you mean that the first punishment should be the permanent ban, but both are much worse solutions than what is already being done. Try to stay positive, and remember that there is always a greater chance that the other team will have the Griefing player instead of yours!

if cheaters and scripters get instant permabans. so should intentional feeders and trollers,
