Then I started leveling up a new account over the past few days for fun. HA! Fun...

Holy god.

I have never witnessed so much flaming and trolling in my life. How does anyone ever make it past level 20? Jesus tap dancing christ, these noobie games are absolute cancer.

And its not even just my own team. Its everyone. All across all chat, all across team chat, everything. Everyone wants everyone reported for this that or the other, everyone's feeding or inting, everyone's trolling (or so you get told repeatedly in chat)

I feel like I've just started my volunteer work at the local "school for the troubled."

I swear 8 games out of 10 i've typed in "/mute all" by the 10 minute mark. It is absolutely bonkers. I find myself honoring the least despicable person on my team just so I can get the "everyone honored someone" boost, but NOBODY deserves it... god no... not by a long shot.

And I feel bad because I think to myself... "This is what bronze kids have to deal with EVERY DAY."

At least in gold, if someone flames, they just throw out a few racial slurs and get back to playing. Or they'll just say "fuck you" and disconnect. Or they'll just start AFK pushing a side lane and say "I'm done" and refuse to cooperate for the rest of the game.

But in these noob games, its like... just a wall of text. All game, every game. Just a litany of toxic filth.

My guess is because I'm playing with all the people who got their main accounts banned, or currently suspended. Glad to see they're "reformed."

I swear I report at least one, but more often 2-3 players per game. It is mind blowing.

I'd be willing to bet that the 1-30 climb deters at least like... 20% of new players from ever getting into the game at all. I'd put money on it.

Shit, I've been playing this game for years, and it almost makes me want to quit - but I have the luxury of going and playing on my main account when I get tired of all the bullshit.

Guess you didn't know about smurf matchmaking.

You're not playing against actual new players, most of the time. You're playing against smurfs, which would imply a large number of perma'd players. Actual new players and smurfs basically have their own queues, something the game determines within your first two or three games. So no, this isn't what total noobs have to go through.....although that isn't amazing either.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING. My god every game is just someone trying to find a reason to report someone else. It mainly comes from premades they either try to bully someone they don't like on their team or they try to get toxic in all chat and inappropriately taunt the other team over the line. The sad thing is those premeds never get punished either it feels like I've reported everytime and nothing happens. I'm almost sure the whole 1 report same as 9 is a complete lie. Everytime I see a 9x report its an instant feedback. And trust me, I've seen a lot of reporting in this ELO. Like probably 300+games of it.

I think they need to change the report system because these people rather report than play or try to find way to report by typing in chat and bullying someone into getting them to react poorly. The report system is just a way for them to get vindication for bad play or whatever.

you do realize that low level accounts are all literally smurfs and ppl who have gotten banned so many times they dont care. they make a new account everyday. and im not even joking. plus its so easy to level to 30 now that i dont even believe new kids are even learning the game. i dont believe the reformed ppl are learning the game. i also dont believe the smurfs are learning the game. this is why bronze to gold is hell every season because of the influx of people... who.. dont... know... how... to... play... the... game

Low elo besides gold especially bronze, they are really cocky, they have this pride of them where if they make a mistake they will just blame the others so they don't look bad. I think their thought and pride are caused by those games where they have feeders, afk, int players in their team. By those games i don't mean just 1-2, I mean like 30+ games where they suffer and they started to think they deserve higher elo aka Gold-Diamond and it's their team that is holding them back(slightly true, however only true if they deserve silver 5-4) They just get tilt easily and they go after kills instead of objectives. WHY? One of my friend is in bronze and he usually goes after kills because it makes his KDA look good and it looks like he carried and looks like he deserve a higher elo. This will continue until you reach gold elo where everyone stopped to flame, feed, int, afk. In gold elo no one ints on purpose if they are feeding it simply means that they are trying their best and the enemy is simply just better and destroying that player. Then you reach plat elo..... OH GOD. To be honest I think Plat is a more toxic elo than bronze. Everyone there has this ego where they believe they are good and low elo players means nothing to them. People in Plat are also rusty and yes they flame however they don't flame like bronze they flame in a different level. For example Bronze players be like "THAT CHAMPION IS SO BROKEN, WHY DOESN'T RIOT NERF IT" AND "OMG NOOB CANT 1V1 ME TRASH TEAM". While Plat Players be like "what are you doing? You should had rotated top and jg should had ganked, then we take 1st turret and rift. How hard is that? Are you that boosted?" and "Why didn't you follow my lead? me and the adc are fed we could had won that fight and yet you all came in 1 by 1 and throw baron, GG" Basically They both flame but Plat players flame in a whole new level. To sum it up

Bronze elo - really toxic

Silver elo - toxic but not that much

gold - not really toxic

plat - Really toxic

diamond - things get better

I'm level 50... and I usually play normals because it's less stressful than ranked and I can practice some champions that I usually dont play.. but normals is a whole mess rn. In the last 20 or so games, I've probably had a troll on my team at least 70-80% of the games. People are are either feeding into the double digits, have zero gamesense, or are just trolling in the support role. calling them out and they actually start flaming and being toxic deargod

IF you manage to endure level up and lower brackets (wood (as in placement) bronze, silver) you might have developed a tougher skin for the future :D

This is why I'm for a prisoner island instead of perma bans. Less of them will make new accounts and flame new people.

As a bronzie, oh man you've not seen true hell until you see mid-high bronze, and low silver "gatekeepers" (People who are toxic and bad but managed to hit silv5 and would need to drop to b5 MMR to be demoted because weird league ELO systems)
