playing this game since mid season 2...
(1. sorry for my bad english, its not my first language) ... i love league of legends. in these 6 years that im playing i always loved and enjoyed the game even back then when i was still running into the tower because i was horrible at the game.
but after 6 years i still wonder... WHY CAN I NOT REPORT PEOPLE IN CHAMP SELECT!? after 6 years it still happens that people come in "give me this role i got autofilled, if not i go int". and what can i do about it? nothing! i can either dodge and lose lp + having to wait. or i play the game, most likely lose, waste even more time and lp and be tiltet or give him my role in which he will still manage to fail/get mad over someone dying and then int. and then what? i can report him afterwards but most likely he wasnt toxic enough in chat AND he isnt doing it often enough to be punished. and the part that pisses me off the most is that even if 9 ppl report this guy, NOTHING IS DONE! now dont get me wrong i 100% agree that lets say 8 premades report you (the enemys and your allies just happen to know each other but theres one random) you shouldnt be insta banned for just the fact of 8 reports. but how many times would that happen? if my entire team AND THE ENTIRE ENEMY TEAM think "wow this dude was such a motherfucking asshole that doesnt deserve to play this game" and all 9 report him MAYBE IT SHOULD TRIGGER A FUCKING MANUAL REVIEW FROM RIOT BECAUSE YOU CAN BE SURE HE IS A FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!
or how about this: premade reports only count as 1. so then worst case you get 4 reports from your 4 man premade team, which counts as 1. and you get lets say 3 more from the enemys. THIS SHOULD ALSO MAYBE TRIGGER A MANUAL REVIEW! because if you really get like 4 or more reports in one game, chances are high that this isnt just some mad kid that thinks you troll because your ignite got a kill that otherwise would have survived, its most likely you being an asshole!
also the report value thing... seriously what does it even mean by "falsely reporting decreases your report value"? i dare to say that no player can ever reach a report value of 0%. so yea your report will always do something if its correct. no matter how many wrong reports you make otherwise. so why do we even have this? there should actually be a thing that tells you for example "buddy your last 50 reports were all wrong, stop being so mad or your reports WILL ACTUALLY BE TOTALLY WORTHLESS FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME!" the worst that can happen is you really get a guy who lets say spams kys and noone of the 8 other players reports him. well how long do you think he can continue that?
i really think by giving players a VISUAL NUMBER on how valuable their last reports were and by giving players that keep falsely reporting some "punishement" this would improve the entire situation. (no ban or so that might scare ppl from reporting, make it something like for the next 20 games, your reports are useless AND you are in a special state where flame gets you banned faster)
while we are at it: make it so the higher your honor level, the more your reports should count BUT also the more you should be sportsmanlike. i saw so many ppl being honor lv 4 or 5 that were passive agressive the entire game always going like "wow gj that was a really good play" when someone literally was 0/8 and died again because the enemys camp him. the higher you are, the faster toxic ppl should be banned. but also the more their reports should count!
riot you do so many things right but i feel totally helpless seriously! and even when i do have some guy who literally tells me that all jews should be burned alive and spams this the entire game I DONT GET A FEEDBACK MESSAGE! I FEEL FUCKING HELPLESS! just give us the damn options. 3 options like
- always get a feedback when one of your reports within the last X hours lead to a punishement.
- sometimes get feedback
- NEVER GIVE FEEDBACK (because there are ppl who dont care if someone got banned or not)
i really do feel totally helpless. and then i come here to the boards to see if the bansystem actually works and im happy to see some randoms i dont even know to be banned cause that tells me the system does still work. THATS NOT THE POINT! i wanna come here to answer questions and ask stuff myself. and not to confirm that the system still works.
i dont wanna feel helpless anymore and i want clear feedback whenever my reports did something! riot please. this is not season 2 where i used to flame people because i thought telling someone his last death was fucking stupid helps. its almost season 8, the slow bad tribunal is gone we got a good system going. but dont get lazy now, you need to adapt and "buff" things.
riot please. make it happen. i love this game but seriously i feel helpless and like my reports are totally useless.
