Can we please have harder crack downs on scripting players? This is kind of insane.

This is a Diamond player with a couple hundred games this season, and very obviously scripting. Their win rate is below 50% and their KDA is pretty bad; they weren't playing at a Diamond level and made a lot of bad decisions, but essentially never got hit by skill shots, and orb walked perfectly. My team reported her and one of the enemy team players also said they suspected she was scripting in the post game lobby.

It wasn't very blatant, and we probably wouldn't have noticed if not for me playing Cassiopeia. She immediately turned away from 6/7 of my ults for maybe 0.1 seconds at the moment the damage hit; you could barely tell she turned, because there was essentially no break in her autos.

The remaining ult, she flashed to the very edge at the instant the stun would have hit. If this was intentional and she was anticipating flashing my ult, she would have flashed behind me or up so that her ult pushed me into the rest of her team, not two steps to the side below me, where it just pushed me to safety. It was pretty obviously choosing the closest point that would just clear the cone.

If this player has gotten away with it for hundreds of games, how many other players at Diamond+ are doing this?

Hundreds of adc games, and you were the 1st cass to ever face within those hundred games. Definitely a scripter, or some pros alt practice account, I mean why would you flash when you have the w reset and already walking in the direction completely away from the ult + the sudden flash to change direction just to dodge dmg from cone

Yeah seems like definitely a scripter. But as a lowly silver scrub, I should not speak on this. I've never recognized scripting ever lol. But I've seen videos of it and if your recollection is accurate, yeah that fuckers definitely scripting and i hope you reported him. Hopefully the system catches him.

I played against a Xerath who was scripting the other day and that shit is absolutely insane. It's definitely not fun to play against/with.

Scripters are everywhere. Script denying is everywhere too.

Riot definitely bans scripters, it's just unfortunate that we have to suffer the consequences of the way they ban. Riot bans in waves and they take their sweet time just adding people to the list of who used what script and then they ban.

So although they have accurate script bans, they are infrequent. Why? Because Riot doesn't want the scripters and hackers to know how exactly they got detected. If Riot banned people the instant they used a script, then it gives the programmers MANY MANY chances to test things by changing a small thing or a few small things every few days until they found a combo that worked that wasn't detected.

If they ban with long periods of time between, it leaves programmers scratching their head trying to wonder how their program got caught as they have very few trial and error attempts.

Although this makes it easier on Riot, it makes it harder for us as the player base as we're subject to unfair game play for long periods of time.

Do I wish they would ban scripters more frequently? Yes, but I understand why they don't.
