Player behavior quality of life upgrades part 3

  1. Make it so after level 15 losing games no longer grants summoner exp, and after level 20 only normal draft grants exp. This will massively cut down on botting as well as force players to at least be familiar with the summomers rift meta before playing ranked. No more ARAMing to 30.

  2. Replace the intentional feeding report to "assisting the enemy team/trollimg" This would create less confusion regarding tahm kench trolls, afk farmers ect. Rather then negative attitude being a catch all report and reports against trolls being diluted by reports of minor offenses like "ggez"

  3. Make it so the person initiating a surrender is anonymous. And make it so if youre down more then 15 kills and its been at least 30 mins.It just requires a majority to pass. This eliminates a duo queue's ability to hold a team hostage even when 3 players have given up... and this scenario is when i see the MOST toxic behavior. When a team is badly losing, but 2 people are deliberately keeping everyone in the game as punishment.

  4. Make it so autofill protection wont expire after a remake.

  5. Make it so all champion generated terrain can be passed through by allies. This will prevent people from using champs like anivia or trundle to wall thier allies.

  6. Ban any newly released or heavily redesigned champ from ranked games for the 1st week of release. But disable them from being banned in normals for that period

I think this would actually probably just lead to more bots in normal games, frankly. If you can make a bot that plays League you can make a bot that can do draft normals.

I'd change it to "assisting the enemy team," frankly, because "trolling" is a rather ambiguous term that could easily be leveled against a jungler who just legitimately feels it's not a good idea to try ganking your lane, even though you really want him/her to, or a support who wants to play Nami even in a meta where she's not a great pick.

  1. Make it so the person initiating a surrender is anonymous. And make it so if youre down more then 15 kills and its been at least 30 mins.It just requires a majority to pass.

That's an interesting breakpoint, but the idea has some potential. Would have to think it over more -- there are some meaningful disadvantages as well.

Anonymous surrender vote I have less issue with.

This one I can approve of entirely.

  1. Make it so all champion generated terrain can be passed through by allies. This will prevent people from using champs like anivia or trundle to wall thier allies.

This one actually breaks a lot of terrain interactions and gives a HUGE power boost to those abilities, and I'm not sure it's worth it.

Not sure I can get behind this one either -- people have a right to play their champions when and where they want. If I can buy Annie for the first time and jump into ranked with him immediately, I should be able to do the same with a new champion.

I'm on board with 1, 2, and 4, and so-so on 5 and 6. I don't like 3.

Anonymous surrender vote, perhaps. But I've been the duo that refuses to surrender, and it's not about punishment. If I win bot lane hard but mid and top lose, I still often think there's a good chance that we can effectively 2v5 the game. In my most recent match, I was top lane Yorick, and while the rest of my team got slaughtered to the tune of a final score of 42/19, I damn near turned that game around simply through effective split-pushing. I vote no in any surrender count in that situation, because all my team had to do was hold off slightly better than they'd been doing and let me win the game for them.

Regarding #5, I think impassable terrain is a major strategic decision for how those champs work. Eliminating troll potential is one thing, but Anivia getting to peel for free in the middle of a melee fight, or Taliyah ulting straight down the middle of a team fight, seems like it would take a lot of rebalancing.

6 is probably fine.

Suggestion 1: Requiring some specific game mode to gain exp would not increase the quality of "Life" for those people who don't play that kind of game mode. For example I don't play anything else than ARAMs and ARAM does not sound like 'normal draft' - not one bit. So I say no thank you. I have no interest to come see the trolls of the other game modes or suffer the tedious gameplay (imo) of those game modes. The few trolls I see in ARAM are enough for me, thank you very much.

Suggestion 2: I agree with that. That sounds like a nice improvement.

Suggestion 3: Part 1: Anonymous surrender vote starting: Why anonymous? If you want to surrender, why don't you want your name to show up? Imo if someone wants to surrender, he should have to tell his team why he wants to surrender. Current system is anonymous enough and making it fully anonymous would make it even worse. Part 2: Majority vote when you are losing enough; so if someone wants to surrender, he just needs to feed a little bit more and make the surrender vote easier for him? No thank you.

Suggestion 4: I am not qualified to comment on that, since I only play ARAM.

I don't know why you started counting from 1 again at this point, but here are my thoughts.

Terrain suggestion (the second 1): It would give extra power to those champions and so Anivia, Trundle, Taliayh and such would need nerfs to compensate. I think the current system is good enough. The trolls will find a way to abuse things anyways. This kind of change would be pointless.

Ban suggestion (the second 2): Again, as an ARAM only player I don't feel I am qualified to comment on that.

Point 1 might be steep for people who like to play blind pick only.

I like blind pick when I am short on time (faster queues and champ select), Want to practice a specific champ (no fear of it getting banned)

It will also make the win / loss more important, and thus might induce more rage.

The rest of the adjustments to gameplay interactions, I don't think those are good ideas.

None of this is really vital and can't see it being more effective than their current technique
