Non-obvious intentionally losing at Platinum/Diamond is out of control

Something needs to be done to improve this situation, or find and get rid of these players faster. I've gotten this 7 times in the past 3 days, and it's now impacted me so much that I can no longer get back to Diamond before the season ends.

These players are making it look like they're just having bad games, while intentionally making their team lose, which is extremely easy to do at higher ratings, because a single 'bad' player has much more impact than it does in lower brackets.

For example, in my most recent game, seen below, a smurf asks if we're ready to lose and bans Jarvan, who our jungle had hovered.

Looking at this player's match history, it's full of losses and bad scores with ADCs who they have 60%+ win rate and high KDA with (and this is 60% win rate and high KDA after all of the 'bad games' they've been having over the past week). At a glance, they just look like a lot of bad game. They're still building correctly and CSing. Until you check their damage done to champions, which is often insanely low, making it clear that they weren't helping their team.

This is likely why they aren't banned, though it's clear to everyone who has encountered them that they're trolling.

Something needs to be done to deal with this, whether it be adding more people to review these players, or something else; it's not my job to fix the problem, but it needs to be fixed.

"non-obvious" of course you can't prove anything sherlock. worst reply ever

Low damage to champions doesn't prove anything except their focus is poor and/or they're playing overly safe.

Simply them not playing the game the way you want them to does not mean they are trolling or intentionally feeding. The team needs to work around each other, not tear each other down with constant statistical analyses.

i feel you. i had this happen to be when i was trying to get to gold flex. scarner in my game said imma troll this game. banned my hovered blitz . then purposly fed the first kill and played like normal afterwards. then got him in the next game didnt ban my blitz but still fed first kill then played normal. then a 3rd game he said " nope" and banned my blitz. i do feel and understand where you are coming from

the ones who say something to make it clear what they are doing are just the tip of the iceberg. i bet you have played with dozens who just do the same thing quietly.

i played a game a while ago where we seemed to be winning until the end when we lost 2 teamfights very badly and i couldnt understand how. then after the game looking at champion stats i saw our caitlyn had 5k dmg done to enemy champions - by far the lowest in the game. she is csing, she is standing in the right spots, and she is not attacking.

its very hard to notice. she didnt say anything all game to indicate she was trolling. she just wanted to lose.

all matchmaking games have this problem. when you lose you get easier games, so some % of the players want to lose. in overwatch you get a player like this in half your games.

i dont think anything really can be done about it. you cant Force people to try their hardest to win. i mean how can anyone prove that caitlyn wasnt just lagging or something? but she never said anything about lag and was csing normally. i dunno. i dont think anything can be done.
