We need a report option in champ select

There are way too many players in the playerbase that threaten to troll/int/feed before the game begins.

For example, if mid is first pick and picks yasuo, the top lane player that picks after him has no reason to babyrage and lock in cleanse/smite janna saying "I'm running it down mid". Yasuo can be played mid lane - don't threaten to ruin the game experience for 4 other people just because you didn't get what you wanted.

People can dodge, yes, but in all modes there's a queue timer punishment and in ranked there's the possibility of losing 3-5 lp. That punishment is pretty severe compared to the person who threatened to int - that person would just be placed back into the queue.

Hence the need for an option to screenshot and report to Riot. These types of players need to be removed from the game. This behavior shouldn't be condoned.

I feel that this would suffice.

After a dodged champ select

Recent match dodged.

would you like to report a player that misbehaved in champ select. summoner 1(top) summoner 2(mid) summoner 3(adc) summoner 4(support)

no thanks!

it wouldn't prevent the dodge, but it would punish champ select hostage takers.

This is beyond enforcing meta, it's becoming a serious "get your lane all the time issue" most of the times that I see this type of behavior (which is becoming more frequent) it is someone that got auto-filled onto a roll they don't want, asked for a swap, didn't get it, and immediately turned super toxic unleashing a hellscape of insults on the other players, threatening to troll. Almost always someone dodges, which means the troll gets to go right back into que and try for the role they want with no penalty. Not only is this generally toxic, it leaves them untouched by the reports system AND it affects que health as these people are literally avoiding the auto-fill system that was put into place to prevent long que times. There needs to be a counterbalance, and the ability to report and block them from champ select would go a long way towards it.

as for ranked I agree, as for normal blinds, riots said that they dont want to enforce meta (which they end up doing a lot) and I doubt they'd punish people for blind pick champ select

but it would be helpful in ranked

There should be some form of this where we can send shots of chat or anything. But will anything happen? probably not.
