For those of you who decide to break the meta. while it may not be against the rules.

off meta picks by their very nature put people on tilt and kill morale for your team from the get go
people will assume you're trolling and will report you for the smallest slip up in chat
there is a reason they are considered "off meta"

so if you want to play fine but remember. just because you can. doesnt mean you should. and please keep it to normals and bots and not ranked if you decide to do it.

Yes, there is a reason they are not meta: People aren't playing them as much. As is inherent with the concept of "meta".

You should learn that there are meta picks, very popular picks ( Lucian ) that perform worse than non-meta picks.

This is usually not a problem in my experience? Off-meta picks, even in ranked games, tend to be accepted in my experience, as long as you explain what you're doing and don't act like a jerk.
