Ranked-only bans really need to become a thing

Getting really sick of constantly encountering this behavior in ranked.

We were winning this game and Ekko was threatening to AFK if I didn't give him blue, and Nasus got mad at Jinx for going top after taking bottom tower and said he 'was done,' then intentionally fed by running it down top lane twice.

There really needs to be a crack down on anti-competitive behavior in ranked games. These players should either be banned from ranked for a significant amount of time or not receive rewards, because the number of players who behave like this is getting out of control.

I don't see the reason for ranked only bans, if they're gonna get banned from ranked, won't they just do the same thing in normals?

No the ability for reporting people for doing bad in ranked games then banning them from ranked games until they win a set amount of normal draft games needs to become a thing.

How about we just stop pushing to level winrates at 50% in the game. And just put people from a specific elo all against eachother. So that every time i get a 70-90% winrate on a new account, i don't have to say .... OH GUESS WHAT HERES HIGH GOLD. Time to get trolled to a 50% winrate because well.. thats how matchmaking works

Ranked puts a lot of pressure on people. Some people can't handle it and buckle, becoming toxic. If you bar them from the pressure, you force them to realize what they were doing was wrong and give them a safer, less destructive environment to practise it. Sure, people troll in normals too, but at least it doesn't consume 4 other people's LP and ranked MMR. And personal experience? If you troll in a normals you are 5x as likely to get banned as you are in ranked, seeing as most people who play ranked will say 'kys' and do an empty report for one thing then rush back into queue. Normals, though? Those people will write paragraphs in that report box. Report you for everything you can even conceivably be reported for that game. Get their friends to do it, too. Maybe even silver-tongue the enemy team into reporting you as well. Normals is for fun, and if you ruin that fun they will ruin your life.

Draft players go hard in the paint, man.
